Big question is are we still relying on Lane at LT next year. ....I imagine we have to look at LT early just in case.

I have to think the answer is no. I have to think they will be drafting a new LT.

Best player available, but if things are pretty much equal, LT is the most pressing need. You can't count on Lane, until he proves otherwise. Also, next free agency season, we may sign a proven OT if he doesn't break the bank. With the Bradford trade, we will now be able to re-sign Bennie Logan to a new contract, thus keeping our D-line intact.

I must agree with Igloo and old Duke.

Our O Line must be addressed, as its our most pressing need. Peterson will could be gone after this season, and Lane could be missing a few games next season due to his drug test failure. Wis was only signed for a 1 year contract, and the left guard position is suspect.

1st round should be O-line
2nd round should be a RB

I go with OL, but only if a rue stud is there. I really want McCaffrey more than anyone else.

He looked great in the 1st half. The 2nd half Jimbo adjusted and shut him down. The 3rd qtr, they had 0 yards on offense.
The 1st half, he looked like a world beater. Hope he does well the rest of the year.

Speaking of WR, Clemson's Artavis Scott has really good YAC skills and moves. Smaller kid ... likely slot and returner at the next level.

Has size and skills, but I wonder if he has enough speed for the NFL.

Ohio State's S Malik Hooker looking great again. This kid has tremendous instincts and solid size for a Safety as well.

Hooker reminds me of a lot of a young Malcolm Jenkins.

This is going to be a great weekend of CFB. I know I'll be glued to the Buckeyes vs Sooners game of course. Tons of talent displayed from both teams. @Rey what do you think of Pat Elflein? I think he is one of the better OL prospects coming out next draft..Thoughts?

Elflein is a good prospect @ G or C, but may not get picked until mid or late 2nd rund.

Meanwhile, here are some great names for the Eagles with positions of need:
Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stan.
Jalen Tabor, CB, Fla.
Jamal Adams, S, LSU
Roderick Johnson, OT, FSU
Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU (Rey's boy)
Marlon Humphrey, CB, ALA.
OJ Howard, TE, Ala. (Celek/age & Ertz' injuries)
Dalvin Cook, RB, FSU
Eddie Jackson, S, ALA.

Of course, everyone seems to pick Deshaun Watson or Leonard Fournette #1. It is a very good crop of talent this year for sure.

I think I would stay away from Fournette to be honest. I think his work load at the college level is going to shorten his career in the NFL imo. It reminds me of Bama rbs. I love McCaffrey, but he will be gone early. I like OT Rodrick Thomas a lot. I forgot about him. Good list @old duke .

Guys, the more I think about it, our D will so much better when we have 2 elite CBs, so that's what I think the priority needs to be in the next off season. So, for me it almost has to be a CB n the first round, barring no elite one is there, or Howie not being able to move up. I know we also need another OT, RB, and WR, but we need to bolster the secondary to keep us in the big games.

Louisville QB Lamar Jackson is a 6'3" Michael Vick with better passing vision. This kid just took apart the 2nd ranked team in the nation and has been nothing short of spectacular.

Louisville also has players on D I really like ... Safety Josh Harvey-Clemons imo is a stud. Tall, rangy and an excellent tackler/blitzer ... he's like 6'5". LB/DE James Hearns also had an excellent game ... good pass rusher and he can chase well for a 270+ pounder.

Damore'ea Stringfellow, WR, Ole Miss ... like this kid's strength and leaping ability. Not fast, but excellent body control and hands. Guessing 3rd Rd type.
