I mean, he did come up with a plan to hang 40 on arguably the top D in the nation.........without his top 2 WRs and top 3-4 RBs. Is he a better oach if the kicker makes the kick (and Smart worse)?

Not in that situation that fast. They weren’t getting ball back no matter what so score slow. Don’t rush and give Ohio st a chance back and especially while having 2 timeouts

Right...nothing wrong with scoring on the play they scored on....but should have been running down the clock more on their other plays (and the TD play).

Agree. Day is 45-6 and has not been beat by an inferior team to date.

Obviously recruits studs that can play at the next level. 4 seasons and all Top 10 teams. Very good coach.

Agree.....but Blame the Coach Guy is always gonna...well....blame the coach after any loss. could maybe say Oregon loss in 2021 was an inferior team but also had a QB in his first start. Other than that no one other than a CFP team has beaten him.

Right? I mean, I guess I can understand why a fan of a middling SEC school might care about conference as much as team but for me it's just about OSU. Only way I could cheer for UM was if they needed to win to help us. Even then I don't think I could watch and cheer for them.

Just saw where Saben felt the committee should have put Alabama in over either Ohio State or TCU. This is based on his beating Kansas State who beat TCU.
He must feel Alabama has a divine right to be in the playoff regardless on any losses they might suffer.

Using his criteria, we can probably back into almost any school using the "they beat team A, which beat team B, which beat team C and on and one until they should be in the playoff".

I generally cheer for everyone in the big ten except the wolverettes. It helps strengthen the conference’s reputation and helps OSU indirectly with respect to their conference schedule. 9 teams in bowl games this year? I’m good if the conference has one loss every bowl season. Often times though the matches are not equal. You’ll have the big 10 #5 playing another conferences #3…

It wasn't a tackle. He went in as hard as he could with one purpose in mind. And yes, he hit him in the head. It should have been a personal foul at the very least... which I've seen called many times for much less. Fvck the officials for helping UGA and fvck 22 from UGA for being a POS.

I think big games that get a lot of attention are good for the program. No one wants to see OSU face a winless UM team, but 2 versus 3 gets a lot of attention and exposure. While I don't sit an pull for other BIG teams to win, I'd rather they look good than stink it up and make some team from some other conference look good. Whatever helps the conference look good also helps OSU look good.

His head may have whipped over from how hard he was hit but he hit shoulder to shoulder and his head likely made contact with 22 when his head whipped over but it wasn’t a direct head shot. Good grief

OSU fucked by the refs 3 times in the 2nd half affected the game. If just one of those wouldn't have happened.......
