Offensive Coordinator. Isn't he co-offensive coordinator over there with Spurrier? Shane has rapidly become our best recruiter on staff....and could actually become VT's head coach one day if Daddy Beamer decides to stay around for a few more years.

Yeah, Elliott is co-OC. We have playcalling by committee, with Spurrier being the main guy, and his son and SE dialing up some plays, too. I believe SE started out with the title run-game coordinator/OL coach, and they've modified it. It would be an interesting choice for VaTech, there, imo - the hundred interviews I've seen with Elliott, he's mainly just talked about how the OLine was doing. So I don't know how he's come off in interviews with you guys, about his ideas in general on offense. But I have seen him in practice many times, and like I say, he's intense dude.

Yea I hear he's kind of a Bud Foster type coach on the field. Fwiw though, I think they will hire Pep away from Stanford if he is willing to come.
