Watching an OU game will make their fans pull their hair out watching Hurts play. Non OU fans will simply chuckle. He is prone to t.o.'s and questionable decision making. If one just looks at the stats, it presents a bit different story.

Passing: J. Hurts: 30/42(71%); 297 yds; 4 TD; 1 int
Rushing: J. Hurts: 27 for 114 yds(4.2 avg); 0 TD

A typical game, he'll have 1.5 rushing TD's and 3 passing TD's. Still, most fans would be happy with a near 300 yd pass/4 pass TD and 114 yd rush game.

Season stats:

Passing: 3039 yds; 28 TD's; 5 int; 92.8 QBR.
Rushing: 983 yds; 15 TD's; 6 fumbles(4 lost).
Total: 4022 yds; 43 TD resp for; 9 t.o.

Not too shabby. But the t.o.'s....
