They came out of the rain delay totally unprepared as a hitting group. Just ugly.

Wilson wastes our entire bench with 3 pinch hitters who accomplished zip. Not sure how Masterbonner is better than Moore. Then he pinch hits Solano for Tellez vs the leftie when they show that leftie gets hit more by lefties than righties. SMH.

After the game, I asked Dan Wilson about the decision to let Mastrobuoni swing away, as opposed to bunting, which is something the M's have shown a willingness to do this season.

I mean, we're on the road. We need a couple, and, just a situation right there where we're trying to get the lead there in that situation. And 'Stro put up a pretty good at- bat and just wasn't able to get him over in that instance, but able to load the bases anyway and give ourselves a scoring chance.

I know we can't win every game, but, come on man, it's the fucking White Sox. And we wasted a semi-gem by Lawrence to boot. We can't expect that every fifth game.

It sucks to lose that one and get shutout by a really bad team and by a SP that had only just signed with them.

Still, that loss can be forgiven. Losing the series cannot. At all. For any reason. You just can't.
