This one is pretty sweet.

Giants's second best pitcher goes down before the ASB.

Their leadoff man and catalyst goes down in June, then again in September.

Our closer blows three games and is demoted in June.

Our left fielder goes powerless for half the season, and is kaput for September and most of October.

Our starting LF in the playoffs is a guy who almost retired from baseball in July, after being cut by the Pirates.

Team has a revolving door of crap at 2nd until August when a rookie fills the role brilliantly.

Our third baseman hits under .200 for the first month, and under .220 in September.

Our catcher can't hit for extra bases for the last six weeks.

Our 4th starter is demoted in August and essentially disappears from the field.

And we still won the World Series.

Bochy and all the coaches did a helluva job.
