I wonder if don mattingly and matt williams trade places ??....I could see that happening.

Why would anyone want to hire Mattingly.

If the Mets win what would you do with yourself? You're a Warriors fan right?

You call ahead to the garage, ask them when to tell you you can bring your car in, and when you get there they look at all the full bays and grudgingly tell you, "ok, I guess you can leave it..."

You're damn right, I'm leaving it. Now, not only does it need inspecting, but change the oil, rotate and balance the tires, and I want a fresh Magic Tree on the mirror when I pick it up LATER TODAY, not tomorrow.
Is this the same garage that hates wimminz and is going to make Mrs. Hu take a bat to 'em? :susp:

Mets fuckin' tore through the Cubs.

Regardless of whether or not they were beating good teams during the regular season or not, they're doing it now.

And what the fuck is up with Daniel Murphy? Seven years in the majors and he's his 62 HRs, nine games in the postseason and he's hit seven? Dios mio. If he played a full season homering at this rate, he'd hit 126 HRs. That makes my brain hurt.

His slash stats for the NLDS are downright stupid:

.529/.556/1.294/1.850

Awesome stuff. Congrats and good luck, Mets fans.
Mets certainly have the hottest player in the playoffs and that bodes well for them

Except for the huge break before the World Series.

A big thing with the Mets is that they were able to keep their velocity high against the Cubs who struggle against high velocity fastballs. I'm not sure thats the style of pitching the Royals would struggle with but Id leave that to a Royals fan. The Royals seem to be a 'we'll swing at everything and certainly the first pitch' type of team.

Scioscia is the king down there in the OC...he's not going anywhere.

I don't know. I've heard he's always wanted the Dodger job, and with the funny money the Dodgers are handing out these days, I'd never say never.

Congrats. Should have been the Red Sox going to the world series, but I suppose I can be happy for you for a couple of seconds.

HEY! this isn't sympathy you're offering...it's tribute.
