Strikeouts aren't nearly as important as complete game wins, and 4 inning game 7 shut down relief with a 1 run lead.

no, but it doesn't make his performance any less impressive. A strikeout is a virtually guaranteed out. 12 of his 21 outs were K's. That's an impressive outing, especially against a lineup like the Cubs.

not trying to take anything away from Bum either, his 2014 postseason was incredible. Two CG shutouts in an era where complete games have nearly become extinct. I mean, just look at the yearly leaders. This year's NL leader was a four way tie with 2 complete games. It's crazy.
