He was looking for a multi-year deal, so I guess that's not happening for him.

It would be a good pickup for Carolina b/c I think a change of scenery might be good for him. Carolina might be challenging for that vaunted ( ) Southeast Division crown this year.

Better Carolina than the Penguins, b/c then I KNOW he'd have a great year.

If this happens, congrats Biz. And also, my apologies. He's a tough guy to cheer for.

Rutherford has been saying since Feb that his ONE MAIN GOAL this offseason was to finally get a top tier level winger for Staal that's he's never had. Which was the main reason I was so shocked at the (totally awesome) Staal trade.
that's why he went after Parise and Nash. Never would have done that in any other year.

On the real, I don't think that they'll all be on the same line. However they might have 90 goals just from those three. That's pretty unreal.
