Poor Sacramento Kings. So many unlucky and unlikely things happened in that 2002 WCF.
That team was so much fun too. Tons of personality, flashy play, etc.

Depending on Devin's hammy, this series could go longer than expected. Suns need to not choke it away, or they may never recover.

Nawlins must absolutely find a way to win 1 of those 2 home games.

I think they will...and then roll the dice in a best of 3.
Yeah it's all they can hope for, a split. Even without Booker the Suns have a capable roster. Who knows...even if he plays in Game 5 he probably isn't fully healed.

I am old enough to remember the 2021 SUNS catching every single lucky break in the 2021 playoffs with other team's injuries.

I don't think they played a single series (until Milwaukee) that the other team's stars were not hurt.

and even Giannis was game time iffy injured for that series....

The Karma gods want to balance things out with the Booker injury it seems.

Or injuries are part of the GAME of basketball.

Book out 2-3 weeks with the hamstring. Grade 1 strain

That's the best news possible, I think, so this is good news.

Edit: Actually, I confused this with Middleton's MCL injury. I believe that guys can come back faster that 2-3 weeks from a hammy, but hearing it is grade 1 is good.

Yep mid-May. Unlucky for the Suns, a franchise that has never won a NBA Championship. I was rooting for them too but it seems unlikely now.

That being said, I wouldn't count them totally out. I think they can win this series vs New Orleans and potentially vs a Mavs or Jazz team. Isn't crazy. If he can return for a Warriors-Grizz matchup they could be fine.

I'm not sure it is karma. They still proved they were a damn good team that year and they didn't win a title. The Bucks had more luck imo. Remember the Bucks were a BIG TOE away from losing in the playoffs. Have to give credit to Giannis for going bonkers in the NBA Finals though.

Gotta say it, this is a douche comment taking joy in someone's injury...

Coming from the guy that wished injury on Paul George five years ago.

He didn't take joy in it...dumbass. He just said that it looks like the basketball gods are balancing things out.

That is nothing like the classless, douchebag bullshit you said and then tried to defend.

And trying to make what he said into anything like the shit you did, makes you an even bigger douchebag than we already thought you were.

He is a known Suns hater on this board since last year and was indeed taking joy.

And FWIW I do not defend what I said about Paul George in 2017. The split was necessary for all parties involved, from the Pacers organization to the fans of Indiana, and for Mr. George himself as well.
