You can't predict what VT is gonna do. They can look like world-beaters one week and then the next they look like a mediocre fcs team.

We'll see which Beamer team shows up.

I sure hope you are right. Doubt it though. Gonna be a fight in the beginning. If (and I mean IF) Ohio State pulls away, it won't be till the mid 3rd or so.

Meh never can tell with VTech what kind of team shows up. I don't think tOSU is gonna lose, probably won't be close either

which is why it should be the 2nd or 3rd game of the year........ why start with a serious threat instead of letting the team have an Akron or Ball state cupcake to let the O and D gel up to get their shit straight in the 1st game.....

The major differences from last year...well a lot of things:

A solid offensive line who has seen some of the best defensive lines in the country and will see another one tonight.

The defensive scheme of Va Tech but I'm sure they will mix it up like always.

A QB that was making his 2nd career start now has experience and a year of it.

Elliott was essentially making his 2nd career start too, also with the new o-line and him having to get used to playibg with one arm last season lol.

And most importantly the defense, they have grown up and played elite in big games.

And this VT team was actually healthy when tOSU played them last year minus the guys they lost before the season. And from all the inexperience the Buckeyes had they kept it close last season. But now VT is completely healthy with a couple key Buckeyes missing, we will see if they can get revenge. I expect this game to pretty close the whole way.

Just ready for the game, hopefully all players can stay healthy throughout.

Predicting the 1st game is always a toss up, guess we will see how spring/fall camps got everyone in tune.
