Jimmy now has the perfect opportunity to get back to the Finals with a Heat win tonight. Butler has a score to settle in the Finals as he very quietly was not impressed with the Lakers Bubble Championship and thought the Heat should have won that attenuated Finals.

I can see sticking with Jayson or Jaylen if their struggling.

If Marcus Smart is struggling, PULL HIS ASS. I don't give a damn about his media defense role player award, he's just a role player at the end of the day. Don't play him 40 minutes and shoot you in the damn foot. Come on rookie coach, get it together. Especially with White always constantly outplaying him.

Smart your job is to be the point guard and hit wide open threes. I don't want to see you ever creating for yourself because you're just not good\consistent enough at it, especially in these kind of games.

Horford you're technically the biggest choker in NBA history. Most playoff games without a finals performance, motherf*cker you need to step up. Only Chris Paul challenges you for bigger choker and he at least made a finals. Choking when their is no pressure on you is just inexcusable.

Good news is Tatum averages 33PPG after a loss these playoffs and celtics win by a +17 margin

Marcus Smart is the heart and soul of the team. He is inconsistent offensively, but the Celtics need him on the court.

As for Horford?

Horford is a role player. Yes he has made all star teams, but he is not the franchise cornerstone type of player you can blame when his teams don’t win titles.

The fact that Horford has so many playoff appearances is an indicator of his value to his teams.

This.

It could be argued Smart is as important to Boston's success as Tatum or Brown.

Why are so many people assuming Miami wins this game?

I realize it is in Miami, but this game is literally a coin flip. Home court has been almost meaningless in this series.
Who is assuming that? Yet to see one analyst pick Miami. They have picked Miami to lose every game except game 1

I'm not really sold on smart as a playoff performer. He has either performed poorly or sat out the last 2 rounds. I believe he had 2 good games (game 2 vs heat and game 6 vs bucks).

Horford has to give more then 3 lousy points in a game 6 closeout game. He was missing open threes. He also was swept as a 1st seed in 2015 when he was hawks best player.

It seems as though multiple people on here have either said or insinuated it.

Both teams are elite defensively and inconsistent offensively. That creates a game with a wide range of outcomes and no clear cut favorite, IMO.

Tatum vs smart is just a joke, not even close. That's like in 2001 saying Derek fisher is as important to kobe.

No, it is more like saying Draymond Green is as important as Steph Curry.

I don’t believe it in this case, but you are drastically under valuing Smart.

Horford was the “best player” on a team with 4 fringe all stars. None of them were legit franchise players.

Chris Paul was a superstar.

Apples and oranges.
