Didn't start Zach Davies because he was pitching at home where his ERA is over 6 this season. So of course he pitches 6 2/3rds innings of 1-run ball and beats the Pirates.

This will happen to me. The men in my family have weak achilles on our left feet.
Mines been sore for 15 years.

Gotta stop by my dads every day after work and do everything for him but wipe his ass. 3 floor condo...

got a nasty infection (photo) and now hes immobile even longer.

Blew out my right Achilles running a triathlon 15 years ago. I didn't have a surgery cut that long. It was short, like maybe 1/2". They pulled a tendon out of the left side of my right foot and wrapped it around both broken ends of the Achilles. The tendon held it together until the healing process fused it. 15% permanent loss to the flexibility but it hasn't really affected my mobility much.

Pretty nasty. Still, only four starts.

With a 7+ ERA over his last four starts, including a complete cluster fuck against the White Sox, I think we should wait at least that many starts to see if he's turned any corner.
