Just looked at the splits. Sox are in the top 10 MLB for BA with RISP. So either it's just recent or I notice the negative more than the positive. Which is entirely possible.

They had that run before the Tampa series which was right before the AS break. Since that Tampa series the offense has been horrendous. Coincidentally or not that first game of the Tampa series was when Bogaerts got hit on the wrist. He's sucked since then and it seems as he goes so goes the team.

Pedroia is really the only guy that's been hitting consistently.

I don't know what happened to him in Boston, but in the playoffs in '12 and '14, he was THE MAN. Hopefully he'll get his eating coach back
