Can't wait for Farrell's forthcoming decisions not to have Nunez steal bases.

Dear Lord

Always makes me laugh, no one (very rarely) in the media is held accountable for their stupid statements and predictions.......

heyman just mentioned something last week about the Yankees and Giancarlo Stanton, since than everyone in and around the Yankees has more or less said, "No Fucking idea where that came from"

Lost Art, like bunting

Sit back and wait for the HR and strike out a ton, used to be exclusive to one or 2 teams a year

Now its the blueprint for every team in baseball

The media will crucify players/managers/etc. over the stupidest things, but god forbid they ever call each other out.

I think the Sox have demonstrated they are offensively challenged enough they should start taking the chances. They rarely can string together 3 singles in an inning so if you don't try to swipe a bag, you're probably not scoring. Not to mention being second in the league in the old GIDP thing which stealing could help avoid.

Word. I am getting very tired of the David Price - Eckersley drama the Boston media is pushing now. Was Price being a dick? Yup. Is it worth days and days of articles about Price's moral failings? No.

This was weeks ago too. It's only a story again because CHB decided he needed a few more clicks.

Whatever package gets me Lovullo over Farrell. I have no opinion good or bad on Hazen at the moment.

Not really anti-Dumbo. He's overpaid in prospects on some of his deals but others seem to have worked out nicely.
I'm biased in favor of Hazen due to a family connection. Never met him, but have spoken with his father and spent quite a bit of time with his cousin (she's marrying my cousin, hence a family connection). He was a big part of building one of the best farm systems in baseball and I think is going to do some great things. But like I said, I'm biased, rooting for the guy.

no Yu for u:suds:

According to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the Cubs, Red Sox, Rockies, Indians, Pirates, Orioles, White Sox, Tigers, Athletics, and Blue Jays are the 10 teams on Yu Darvish's no-trade list.

Meaning, of course, that he can veto a deal to any of those 10 clubs. The big notable here is the presence of the Cubs, as they have expressed serious interest, but Darvish might not be against a move to the defending World Series champs and the DH-less National League. The 30-year-old impending free agent holds a 3.44 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 143/43 K/BB ratio in 133 1/3 innings (21 starts) this season with Texas.

Very smart man having the sox on this list. I gained so much more respect for Yu after reading this. He is a good man

Word is Texas is rolling the dice a la Lester and Boston and Chapman and the Yankees, hoping to trade and than re-sign Darvish, mostly with the hopes of getting that Otani beast from Japan

Not really. Seems like he hate the city as both chicago teams are on there.

I would love to know the reasons why he listed these 10 teams
