Although the report is that Frazier is expected to return to the minors once Aaron Hicks (oblique) is back from the DL, the top prospect appears to be in line for plenty of playing time until then. The 22-year-old has been a solid producer for the Bronx Bombers during his first cup of coffee in the big leagues, as he's slashing .294/.302/.627 in 14 games in New York. This production, paired with Ellsbury's decline at the dish, has put Frazier in a position to act as the primary left fielder for the Yankees for the time being, moving Brett Gardner into center field.

Trust me, he's not....Ellsbury has already become a 155 million dollar pinch runner, and Hicks isnt due back till mid-August, and by the looks of things,Frazier isnt leaving them with much of a choice..

Yeah, i got Moncada....He may be eventually a solid major leaguer, but if he doesnt start making contact, I dont know if he will ever be the uber star people expected

If he hits a wall and stops hitting, he will get sent down

if he keeps hitting, he isnt going anywhere, Aaron Hicks isn't impactful enough to have that kid sent down

Mid August is a long ways away in baseball terms

Frazier will decide his fate, they arent sending down one of their most important hitters in a pennant race if thats what he is at the time
