He may be avoiding surgery but at some point this was going to be the boogeyman that actually does come out from under the bed, imo. Not the kind of pitcher this schtick is going to work well for.

Dont get me wrong, he has sucked, but he has shown enough to give hope that maybe this is just a phase he is going through
