I'm just here to troll everyone
Y'know, for all the handwringing about facing Kershaw, the Giants are tremendously right handed. I'm not too too shocked we're getting some runs off him.
HURRAY!!!
Welcome aboard Stokesy!!!
Hey, welcome to the "cool board".
Yeah, it looked like he hurt it just cocking the bat.
DeRosa did by getting hurt. Thanks for the memories, and he's done.
Please have your check made out to Filo, membership fees are due on the 1st
So if another IF goes down tonight..... we might see Posey at 3b
Thanks, GP.
I show up here, and the Giants score four runs on Kershaw. Coincidence?
i feel like an asshole. my initial reaction was to be happy, because he'd be coming out of the game. but once i realized that was probably the end of his career, i feel bad.
hmmm
I had not factored in the possibility of Posey moving around...
Pro's
Get's him more concentrated on the offensive side of the game.
prolongs his career.
Con's
He knows the pitching staff, and they know him.
Pitching is the strength of this team.
When was the last time he played the hot corner?
I think I am convinced that that aint happenin'...
Addition by subtraction. Imagine if the Giants win the WS again.... we might just have to bring DeRo back next year just so he can hurt his wrist again.

Yeah, i was just talking about scenarios to finish this game off. Sort of like when Lowry played LF, and Pedro played catcher...that one time in band camp.
OUCH, babe.
After what sfsportsfan just posted I feel a little bad for these posts. But only a little.
He can console himself on a pile of money.
Pete was the official #3 catcher, though, so his catching was not all that odd. Although Nick's brother playing in the OF is a bit odd, but does happen from time to time.
