Addition by subtraction. Imagine if the Giants win the WS again.... we might just have to bring DeRo back next year just so he can hurt his wrist again.

Get's him more concentrated on the offensive side of the game.
prolongs his career.

He knows the pitching staff, and they know him.
Pitching is the strength of this team.
When was the last time he played the hot corner?

Derosa takes more heat than he deserves from Giants fans. The guy has been legitimately trying to play, he's just physically incapable

I don't know him from Adam. People get hurt every day all over the world, and we do not feel bad about them.

This injury is not life threatening, and he is MORE than well compensated.

I do not feel even the beginning twinges of sadness for him. I am rooting for my Giants.

Yeah, i was just talking about scenarios to finish this game off. Sort of like when Lowry played LF, and Pedro played catcher...that one time in band camp.

Pete was the official #3 catcher, though, so his catching was not all that odd. Although Nick's brother playing in the OF is a bit odd, but does happen from time to time.
