Not that past seasons matter, but it would be nice to get in the Win column against them in the playoffs.

GO HAWKS!

Two bad losses too. One was the "We want the ball and we're going to score" game and the other involved Seattle getting a 14 - 0 lead and then still losing by 20+ ( if I remember correctly).

yeah that game was a huge part of the battered fan syndrome we suffered from before last year.

You do. Seattle started on a roll that game, and then after being down 14-0 I believe Favre and company literally scored 5 straight TDs. Just 5 drives, 5 TDs. It was absolutely ridiculous.

GB has not won a road game against a playoff team since 2012. Playoff or Regular Season.

We should have won both games...especially the "We want the ball and we're gonna score game"

I know some Seahawk fans don't like that moment in history...but I loved the bravado by Hasselbeck. That was the same way I felt about our offense during the Holmgren/Hasselbeck era. I didn't think any team was going to stop us and in that particular game we were moving the ball with ease. The confidence was justified...although the results ended with a bit of irony and karma

The other game was just frustrating. We had the best possible start to the game. Went up 14-0 and got blown out the rest of the way.

I just remember that they couldn't stop Shaun, and then all of a sudden Ryan Grant went off. Considering that game and the Hass proclamation game, payback is due.

All I remember from the 14-0 game was that it started snowing and all hell broke loose. As our guys started getting destroyed and slipping all over the field. They couldn't tackle anything. And the only thought that came though my mind was small D. As we all remember our D back than was small, meant for speed and other teams felt/believed they could push our guys around and by the end of the game out muscle us.

Same here. To think the play before Hass just over threw Darrell Jackson who was wide open about 15 or so yards down the field. At least this time we get the Pack at our place.

This thread made me realize why I've been worried about trying to beat the Packers twice in one season.

Both of those playoff games were nightmares but are stuck deep in my subconscious. It's crazy that they hadn't been in the forefront of my mind until I read this.

Hopefully the 3rd time will be a charm on Sunday.

What's worse is I was flying to Italy that day with a group in college. The game started just about as we were boarding and we were all ecstatic as we kept track. 7-0!.... Now 14-0!!!

Phones off, in the air for 16 hours...... Turn phones on in Italy and:

Yup. The 07 Seahawks D was built on speed and the snow completely neutralized their advantage. Would have been a much different game without it IMO. Not much you can do though, weather is part of the game.

0-2 against the Pack, but both those game were in Lambeau. That's something the Seahawks won't have to deal with this time around.

Dumbest thing I've ever heard, then he throws a pick 6.

Fugly.

I loved it. We were the lowly Seahawks sticking it to the darling Packers. Matt played his ass off that game too. Unfortunate the way it ended, but I guess that's what you get sometimes when you have a ST gunner playing WR in a big game.

Bannister was one of my favorite Hawks at the time, but for a couple weeks after that game...man...if I saw him in a crosswalk I would have accelerated.

First playoff game was amazing ... Heck of a battle ... The second one our defense was soft, our midget corners got exposed, we were just a soft finesse team back then... Our D was sooooo weak .... We really had no business even being in the divisional round that year ... Giants showed what a good defense looked like the next week ...
