It's likely been mentioned but Embiid is kind of good.
Nice dunk but dunk of year?
Right? Priorities.inexcusable for you to miss this game
Nope. He was kind of good. Didn't do anything to slow him down (as most don't), but they played OK overall.not well
He definitely carried then last night and he needed to on offense.....Their D was really good, too, as really only Garland was able to do much.First Sixer 40 point triple double since Wilt in 1968
I mean, they did beat a pretty much fully loaded Bucks' team. Not sure I'd read too much into one game before seeing what happens when we play them at home. They will be a different team then, too, of course.I dont know if the CAvs can play with the big boys yet
much improved - fought on a 2nd night of a road back to back
but Embiid was just too much.
He is the MVP if you ask me.

Okoro dunked over 3 guys earlier in season and guessing there have been better than that one.
Did you really think Lebron would make all 3?Word it however you want......close, lose the game.....
If James makes the FT's they go to OT (rather than a straight L) and if he made a few more FG's.....they outright win the game.
No doubt it was a great dunk from any angle. But dunk of year? I'd say this one was better...and not even sure it was dunk of the yearNot saying it was dunk of the year, but that camera angle did not do it justice.

Cannot say I'm sure anyone would beat anyone else in the East right now among the top 8.I would like the C's chances against a Chicago too. Not that they would automatically win or anything like that... just that it's a good match-up for us.
Against Milwaukee or Miami... Boston would be an underdog, but have a punchers chance.
A full strength Brooklyn team would be a very tough match-up, though... same with Philly and having to defend Embiid.
I think both Toronto and Boston can spoil a first-round opponent... because we both play defense and both can field interesting, versatile line-ups that can be problematic for opponents.
Great as he is, clutch FT shooting never really been his thing.lol
When he got fouled, I looked at my son and said, "this one is over". He says "Why?" I said, "because Lebron isn't hitting 3 straight free throws".

I like the trade for them, as well, but think they could do better than Reed as the backup C.After watching the Sixers win their last two since the trade, I am feeling good about what they gave up and what they kept. Paul Reed is looking intriguing as the new backup center. He has very high energy and looks like a good rotational big. They miss Curry's shooting but hopefully Harden will give them a new offensive dimension as soon as Tuesday. Keeping Maxey and Thybulle has HUGE. Those kids look like they are going to be key role players for years to come.
lol

Or drank their breakfast…Looks like someone cheeked their meds this morning.
I was able to tell my dog he wouldn't make themMy brother said the same. Big Lebron fan
Yeah that’s some home-town knee jerk hyperbole. The thing I liked most about it was Allen had just delivered a hard foul on him and Embiid was bent over grabbing his back. Sends a message to the crowd that he’s ok while also sending a great big fuck you on top of Allen’s head.Nice dunk but dunk of year?

Didn’t realize until after the game the job they did on Garland in the 2nd half. He hit a 3 on the first Cavs possession of 2nd half and he had just four points after that. And surprisingly it came with Tobias Harris being his primary cover in the 3rd quarter because of Thybulle’s foul situation. Also held Garland to one assist the whole game.He definitely carried then last night and he needed to on offense.....Their D was really good, too, as really only Garland was able to do much.
Cannot believe I'd have said this a couple weeks ago but needed Rondo as no other true PG on the team. Not an excuse for losing as I realize the 76ers will look different after the break and were missing a certain guy.
