So much different info on masks. I’m reading now we should actually start wearing them while outside but previous reports said they are actually a problem because you touch your face over and over wearing them.

It was BS from the beginning. It was 100% known from day 1 that it was safer to wear a mask than not wear one. This is why all health care workers, EMS drivers, etc all wore them. They wanted to make sure health care workers had them and didn't want every Tom, Dick and Harry hoarding them like they did with Toilet Paper so they made up these BS stories. Are you more likely to touch your face with a mask? Maybe, I suspect it depends on the person, but it absolutely protects the majority of people better than not having a mask at all. I thought it was kind of offensive how they tried to push this narrative (and shocked people bought it) that masks didn't help instead of just being honest in the first place.

I think that was, once again, needed to stop massive buys by the public which ended up shorting health workers and the like.

And yeah those masks need a double check before use.
