I haven't kept up with this year's baseball but wasn't the Pack ranked #1 at one point?

Assistant Coach Jon Scheyer mentioned today that Javin DeLaurier has had minor surgery on his elbow and that he is recovering fine.

In all honesty I'm into pro sports much more than I am into college sports. I have never followed college baseball so I don't know how high the Pack baseball team was ranked. I know you love Duke no matter what sport they are playing and the only reason I knew their baseball team was in the super regionals is because I heard it on the news and that's why I said good luck and I mean it.

Hey, I'm for the Pack in every sport except when they play the Blue Devils. I've attended games at Carter-Finley for as long as I remember. One of my best friends in life was a Wolfpack Club member before he was taken by Cancer at age 47, but I'm not as in tuned to other sports as I am in college football and basketball. I was hoping Daniel Jones would go to the Redskins but I'm happy he's getting groomed by the Giants rather than thrown into the fire as a rookie. We shall see how it works out.

Thanks man for being a Pack fan except for when they play your beloved Blue Devils. If I remember correctly I think you told me that you have a daughter who attended NC State or maybe I just dreamed that. I'm sorry to hear about you losing one of your best friends at age 47 which is much too young to pass. Cancer has to be one of the worse things that mankind has ever had to deal with. I've been battling bladder cancer for over two years and my last checkup two weeks ago showed no signs of any cancer cells. My treatments have not been fun at all but I give all the glory to God for where I am today. I get a three month break before one month of treatments begin again and this schedule will continue for two more years.

I was kind of bummed out that my Redskins didn't select Daniel Jones but all indications are that I'm going to be very happy with Haskins as the 15th overall pick. From everything I'm hearing and reading he is learning fast, has a cannon for an arm, and might even win the starting QB position. I'm sure Daniel Jones will be fine when he gets his turn to start and I will cheer for him except when the Giants play my Redskins. I guess we both have favorite players and teams EXCEPT, right?

So what is your hope for Zion, other than wanting him to be successful, just like I do? Do you want him to be drafted by New Orleans or do you hope that some deal making will take place before the draft takes place on June 20th so that he will play somewhere else?

I can't wait for DJ to make an appearance at QB, and I'm sure Haskins will be fine. And yes I have the utmost confidence in Zion's success. He is such a great kid with tons of potential, I can't wit to see him in the NBA! No matter where he goes!

I'm sure DJ will get a lot of playing time during the pre-season games. I guess right now it's anyone's guess when DJ will get a start in the regular season but as old and as slow as Eli continues to get he might be one hit away from DJ getting his chance. Don't get me wrong because I don't like to see any player get injured even when he is a rival but because of the nature of the game called the NFL this is how many rookies get a chance to prove themselves.

We will both be big time Zion fans no matter where he plays.

I hope we keep it close, but Kansas has a ton of experience and depth back, and Duke is a favorite at -2.5 if you can believe that!
