This is the first year in the last 20 my family hasn’t had season tickets. I’ve seen a lot of bad, a sprinkling of good.I havent been to a Sox game in over a decade and that was in the shitty Trop. My only game in Chicago was when I was 8 or 9. Been far too long

He is horribly inconsistent. Not being able to go minimum 5 innings against Baltimore is not good.i'm ready to say it. rodon is a complete bust.

If we had any kind of consistency with our pitching - it wouldn't have to even be great, just more consistent and dependable - we'd have the makings of a fairly dangerous team. We're 4th in the AL in runs per game, Anderson still leads the league in batting and despite a horrible slump for several weeks, Abreu is now tied for the lead in RBIs. I think we've had two games so far this season where we came from behind in our last at bat to win the game. Not sure we normally do that twice in an entire season. So you're right about our O being fun to watch. We all knew the pitching would be awful but the offense is fun to watch. Anderson and raking. Moncada has been much more aggressive and striking out less. Abreu is on a tear but his age limits his future value. Jiminez is streaky but looks decent just need him healthy. They are no longer awful to watch. We are close to .500 so they are above where we all expected.
Sho nuffTimmay!!! Kid's got a shot for the April MVP of the AL.
personally, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. he's just another in a line of average to below average pitchers the sox have decided to stick themselves with. i've seen this so many times with the sox. draft a guy and the whole time you have control of them they're either injured or basically suck until they no longer have control. that whole 'service time' for players thing blows big chunks. It seems every time it COULD go bad for a Sox pitcher, it does. In fact, it usually turns out to be the worst case scenario. There's no way Rodon is only going to be out for 10 days. No friggin way.
