I'm sure you would have, but it's not what the Pelicans would prefer. I think Hart would serve as a decent PG. Lebron's got the ball in his hands most of the time, so it's not like you need a real playmaker at the position.

Exactly.

Plus, Rondo is needed to match salary. The only other way would be to send KCP instead of Rondo (if he waives his no-trade), but that makes finding max slot in July tougher. KCP's 12 mill expiring is better to hold onto (or flip for even more expiring) than Rondo's 9 mill expiring.

Every team on this "list" is in no real position to deal for AD... except (maybe) the Lakers.

This is just YET ANOTHER ploy to manipulate the Pel's into an immediate trade... New Orleans would be fools to get suckered in by this.
