It was discussed last year during all the other rule discussions.

The cut down date is set for the first week of preseason. I was going to bring it up after the draft with a few other items. Maybe push it back a few weeks into preseason.

I agree.

First week of preseason is too soon.

Our cut down deadline should be the same as the NFL's, or maybe 1 day after. That way we can evaluate our guys during preseason action. It isn't too late to change that.

Is it more work though?

We should all be responsible for making our own cuts by the deadline. If you miss it, you lose a draft pick. An important one.

Fantrax changed their settings this past year. Now if I freeze FAs, it also freezes drops. So I will have to do the drops, or we put a Trust your neighbor freeze with the understanding that if you break it and pick a player up, the commish will come behind you and drop the player from your roster.



All told there are enough smart people on this league that we will figure something out.
