I predicted this series would go 7 before it started and I have seen nothing to change my mind. It comes down to the performance of the role players, and Atlanta's were clearly better the last 2 games. I hope that shifts back in a washington's favor for game 5.

Also though, as I watch the series unfold, I can't help but think Brooks is getting outcoached by Bud. While in OKC, I always felt Brooks struggled with game management. He lacked feel for substitutions and he often failed to make in game adjustments. Those things matter in a 7 game series between 2 relatively evenly matched teams.

If the Wizards make the ECF, I will happily eat crow about Brooks. However, if they lose first round, those who claimed I was too hard on Brooks need to man up and admit they were wrong.

IMO, the Wizards have more ready to win talent than any other team in the East aside from Cleveland. An early exit would be highly disappointing.

I don't see it a coaching issue, he is coaching a lot of players who suck right now. Morris is the worst starting player of any team still alive in the playoffs IMO, he is terrible right now. The Wiz role players have really dropped off from their regular season performance with the exception of Jennings and that is killing them.

Bud is a really good coach.

I have to admit- id rather the Cavs play the Hawks- who they have owned- than the Wiz---- but at the very least Im glad this is going to be a long series. Next series shoudlnt be a cake walk either against prob. Boston in all likelihood.

Bogdonovic averaging 8.5 pts, 4.5 rebounds, 0.5 asissts, with a total of zero blocks and two steals in the 4 games

he is shooting 33% from the field and 21.4% from 3.

(thats against season averages of 13.7 pts, 1.4 apg, 3.4 rpb, 45.7% from the field, 39.1% from 3)

best game was last night in a double digit loss. He is REALLY gagging from the 3 pt line where they really need him to spread the defense.

Your obsession with Bojan is creepy especially coming off a good game.

His substitution pattern is a joke. You should never start the 4th quarter of a playoffs game with both Beal & Wall on the bench. The only time that is ok is if it is a blowout.

I don't see how anyone can argue that Bojan is killing them right now. Hopefully going 2-4 from three will get him going, he needs to return to form for them to have a chance.

its just fun being right.

There's nothing to be right about. 4 games is a short sample size especially considering he provided double digit scoring off the bench in the last 2 games.

Does it means Kyle Korver was a terrible pickup for cleveland because he sucked in round 1.

Last I checked the Wizards are still playing. There is nothing to be right about.

All I said about Bojan from jump is that he is a solid player and would help their shitty bench which he has done for the most part.

Dude is a troll who knows nothing. He hasn't been great but yeah there is still 2 games left at least. He just needs to keep doing what he did last night.

without Korver they dont sweep thats for sure.

yeah I don't know how they survive without Korver 5 PPG on 41% shooting. Pacers probably sweep them if the Cavs didn't get those 5 PPG on a shitty 41% from Korver

hey- i agree Korver didnt have a great series- but if he doesnt go 4/5 from 3 in Game 3 the Cavs are playing a fifth game.

So far Bogdon's best 2 games have been in double digit L's.

pj tucker went went for 2 2's...wouldve been SO much better....or lou williams...really a ton of guys.

from March 21 when they lost to the Celtics and he built a brick house:

"Bogdon under pressure against a tough opponent falls back to earth- what a surprise. When the Wizards traded for him- were they in 3rd place?"

traded for him- were in 3rd- went down to 5th....now hes been bad in the playoffs and cant hit the broad side of a barn.

that first round pick was the equivalent of throwing cash into a fire.

And what's your point again? Who said Bojan was some star? He is a role player who was acquired to help a shitty bench

It's clearly obvious why Washington went 0-2 in Atlanta if you actually watched the games which you didn't

that he is clearly under performing his regular season stats that were inflated by games against shit teams.

as i said- when the going gets tough in the playoffs- he would underwhelm. As always.....time....whats the word?

vindicates.

His numbers weren't inflated because he played bad teams. He was red hot. When the Wizards first acquired him, he was hot for about a month. The team they played did not matter. He put up numbers in that month against good and bad teams. After his first game with Washington, he had 2 bad games over a month stretch. He provided good scoring off the bench against good and bad teams.

Since he came back from his injury, he has been struggling. It has nothing to do with numbers being elevated against shitty teams unless you're telling me the Warriors, Raptors, Jazz, & Celtics are all of sudden shit teams.

Also when you're getting open looks and are missing them, the team does not matter. It is called being in a slump

Open looks are open looks. Open looks are not more difficult against the Warriors than they are against the Knicks. Open looks are open looks

I didn't really have a prediction, but NBA playoffs is when I really get interested in the NBA game and it's been a fun series to watch so far.

Spot on about the rank-n-file players deciding the games. Obviously roles players typically play better at home than on the road. My take on these next two games...clearly the Hawks can't handle Beal & Wall, but the key to them winning in DC is Howard...he has to be active on OFC...if he is and Milsap can be the guy they think he is...ATL has a good chance of winning game 5...but if Howard is in single digits for points this series is coming back to ATL with WAS up 3-2....I know they've been the Wizzards for a long time not, but I keep calling them the Bullets for some reason.

Wes and Elvin still on the brain I guess.

In his 9 games against playoffs teams (and Denver) prior to his neck injury, he avg 13 PPG on 45% shooting.....which is exactly what he is avg since coming to Washington.....yeah numbers sure are inflated against bad teams

@bksballer89...not to throw water on this series, because it has been entertaining, but as someone who probably follows the reg season more than me, do you think anyone in the east has a real chance to be CLE?
