Here's a pretty good run down of possible trade opportunities

In so far as with WRs

Excerpt

WRs Amari Cooper or Kevin White:
Teams that could be in the market: Bears, Giants, Rams, Vikings, Browns, Saints, Dolphins, 49ers, Eagles. wildcard options: Ravens, Chargers, Panthers, Patriots

Cali.. I realize teams might be in the market for these players. I just dont think #5 is a prime spot where teams will be lined up and calling to trade up for these guys. I dont see the Giants making that phone call, and the rest for various reasons could either stay put and roll the dice, or trade with the Jets assuming Mariota is already gone. Because I think he is the Jets target.

Agree with you about the Gnats. Think it'd be more likely be another team there.

As for MM, I do agree the Jets most likely targeting him. But there is also the Bears, Browns and Eagles that seem like they could be legit possible trade partners.

I would take the Deal if it were the Bears. The Browns... if it was both firsts plus a third.. ok Deal.

As for Philly..... like I said I dont think Chip will get the OK to give up what it would take to get that high up.

Want to make clear I'm not proposing trading down. Merely pointing out the possibility of it. I'm actually fine with whatever SM chooses To do.

I just think there is a legit possibility he does. In fact I'm on the record predicting a 75% likelihood of that. But that is just my opinion.

i think a trade down is more likely in rounds 2 or 3 then in round one

Interesting thread I stumbled on. You guys had done your homework on Johnson and Ajayi -- too bad the 'skins didn't.

Put us all in a locked room to set up a big board, we may come out looking like old school hockey players but dammit we certainly would draft well.

And to think we could have had JA in the 5th, but all wasn't lost in that draft. Got a pretty good RB in Matt Jones. ... ,,hmm, what's that you say?

Maybe it's a good thing SM was canned.

I've been searching for that draft, there were a couple of us who knew about that knee injury in 2011. We also knew that he had tested it since his rehab, it passed and dude was ready to go and a couple of us began calling for us to draft him as early as the third round. We didn't, they (Miami) did......Oh well.

I thought the reason why he fell to the 5th was b/c of his knee injury. Then we took Jones in the 3rd and he had a knee injury in college. Funny how that works. lol

Yea Im pretty sure he did fall due to knee injuries. Worries about tendinitis or something. Its still brought up with him often. I have no idea how valid of a concern it is though.

It was a torn ACL in 2011 that some thought left him with lingering concerns about arthritis which dropped him a bit. However, in a bit of irony what helped push him into the fifth round was an off field issue (character) concerning a pair of stolen sweatpants.
