that could have been hankin money what a waste thanks to SM
half of it is dt pea and cb cullver sm FAWhat players are responsible for the space?
So 5 million in dead space. Cultivar was injured and you cant project that. Paea too was oft injured but oh well.
Back to back winning seasons...guess who the GM was.
I still think the QB situation would have been a lot messier if SM hadn't emphasized his support for starting Cousins. That had to help Cousins' confidence.Sm does not deserve all the credit for back to back winning seasons. A lot had to do with the development of KC and Grudens system. The stars from those two winning season did not come from the SM players so why he is getting all the credit?

Well, I am not one for total coincidence. He was here for 2 years and we won for 2 years. It is the first time in over 20 years that happened. He is a proven commodity. Once he leaves a place, they tend to fall apart. Let us hope it doesn't happen here.
You know my thoughts on the whole SM thing, I am so pissed that he is gone as I agree with you thoughts that we could be in trouble down the road as a result. But like with Tebow you seem to have a myopic look at thing. Tebow wins therefore he is a viable QB, Redskins win when SM is here therefore he was the reason. I just don't agree, in both instances there were other factors that played larger roles in the results..
Yeah the Tebow thing is just weird, you are one of a dying breed who still backs the guy. I guess the best thing I can say to you is a handful of games does not determine a career. Your argument is no different then claiming Derek Anderson is a winner and a good QB because for one magical season in 2007 he was a Pro Bowler and the Cleveland Browns made the playoffs. Read that again, the Cleveland Browns made the playoffs. In Tebow's case he got 3 more opportunities and all 3 teams made the same determination that his original team Denver did. Included on that list was the New England Patriots, a team that has proven they can get production from marginal QB talent and he never made it out of camp. Because he simply can't play.
As for SM's impact on the division championship again just look at the roster, point out the key players who made that happen, and then note how many were acquired by Scott McCloughan. The answer is there are only a couple of them and they were not the reason the team went from 5-11 to 9-7. As for SM's free agent signings of course they were expected to "do much". Pae was signed to be a starter, as was Culliver. Jeron Johnson and Bruton were signed to compete against terrible competition for starting positions and both failed. In fact when an FA is signed, is unproductive, and then waived they were bad signings despite expectations. The expectation was never to be signed, then cut after little production. So by any definition they were bad signings.
both places he had grudens i beliveI believe Snyder was the person behind No. 1 and Shanahan's relationship with Fisher facilitated the trade.
Redskins were screwed either way with Fat Albert's contract. Allen took a shot and it didn't work. I won't go into the they were told earlier that it was okay.
It seems to me that your disdain for Allen is leading you to give him credit where it isn't do. It is true that he hasn't always been the best GM but both places he had been (Tampa won and Oakland got to the Super Bowl.)
It will be interesting (to say the least) to see how things pan out the next two years.
the key guys you mentioned were drafted using scott scouting service , just so you know
