Him going public about the Cavs current roster was a bad idea. But he's right, the Cavs aren't as loaded as the Warriors. He really needs to learn how to keep his mouth shut though.

29 other teams apparently aren't as loaded as the Warriors but 28 of them aren't crying about it like James, who happens to have the leagues highest payroll behind him for 3 straight seasons and counting...

I just don't care. LeBron's not gonna change his ways. But there's no doubt you have an issue w/ anything he does.

like who?

arent many all star free agents thats for sure.

Many networking opportunities there besides just players who were selected.
On top of that, word of mouth.
Apparently coach Stevens is a good guy as well as a good coach.

its just ridiculous

he has made LeBron asking for a backup point guard into lebron whining about the Warriors and whining about needing a 4th star....its 100% delusional.

Tristan Thompson has become a dominant force for the Cavs

On the surface, Thompson’s 2016-2017 season looks fairly unremarkable. His points per game are at a career low, and the only notable uptick is a 0.6 increase in rebounds per game. But looking at counting stats alone will cause you to miss the tremendous growth he has made as a player. Thompson has taken a leap this season and has solidified his role as a cornerstone piece for the Cavaliers.

One of the main criticisms you’ll hear about the Cavaliers is the lack of rim protection. While it’s true that swapping Channing Frye into the minutes that were occupied by Timofey Mozgov have impacted the team’s rim protection and rebounding. However, that statement ignores the transformation Thompson has made as a rim protector this season.

Thompson is recording 1.2 blocks per game this season, up from 0.6 last year. But as we know, blocked shots aren’t the best indicator of protecting the interior. Per NBA.com’s player tracking, opponents are shooting 45.9 percent at the rim with Thompson on them. Compare that to 49.4 percent for DeAndre Jordan, 46.5 percent for Hassan Whiteside, and 43.3 percent from Rudy Gobert, and you can see that Thompson is among the league’s toughest defenders at the rim. His defended field goal percentage at the rim of 45.9 is a very nice 6.9 percent improvement from last season.

In addition to that, the opposition is shooting 10.5 percent worse than their expected field goal percentage within six feet of the basket when Thompson is defending. Last season the opposition shot 0.3 percent better than expected in the same situation. By combining his lateral quickness with better awareness, timing, and discipline, we have seen Thompson develop into a legitmate difference-maker on the interior this season.

At 25 years old, this is the time you often see centers realize their defensive potential. It takes a long time for players to gain the experience and understanding needed to be an elite defensive center. There is so much responsibility placed on that position and to execute on a high level, your reactions must be second-nature, rather than read, think, and react. When on the court, you can see him calling out defensive rotations and communicating on defense. He’s also increased his vocal presence off the court, speaking up in defense of teammates as well as himself.

Thompson has done more than earn his money. He’s the 55th-highest paid player in the league and will be even more of a bargain as the rest of the league signs their new contracts.
what? no one picked on- that in addition to being MILES AND MILES ahead of Whiteside in defending hte pick and roll- that Thompson has actually been better at defending AT HTE RIM this year as well....

lol.

I wish I could be a fly on the wall in that Cavs locker room, I wonder how much LeBron's teammates are talking shit about him behind his back.

No, you'll give him a free pass on ANYTHING.

I call a spade a spade. I have said many positive things about James.

So tell us, what part of this current whining episode of his ever needed to be made public?

Nobody cares or thinks about Tristan.
He's an afterthought who only has any success because of what James brings.

Prob the same % of players who left him off their all star ballots.

Talent wise, hes unanimous pick.
Douche wise, players are tired of him.

I haven't given him a free pass on anything. I've said several times I'm not a LeBron fan. And I said earlier he shouldn't have gone public w/ his roster issues. Seriously you've had a nonstop issue w/ LeBron since I got to this site. It's all good though. But just stop pretending you're completely unbiased when talking about him.

My last post I just said he should have been unanimous pick on every voters ballot.
I call it like I see it.

If he just played the game, I'd never have anything negative to say about him except he's too good to be doing all the flopping.

“Everyone in the locker room has been really positive,” Korver said. “I know there’s a lot of noise on the outside, but you wouldn’t know that if you walk in the locker room. That’s what I’ve focused on. I feel like if they’re not panicking, I’m not going to panic. I’m the new guy. If they’re OK, I’m going to be OK too. That’s really what it’s felt like. My family or friends are worried about me, like, ‘Are you OK? There’s so much stuff being written.’ I’m like, 'It’s really fine. No one is that worried about it.'”

Went to my first Warrior game of the season. I sat pretty close to the floor last night (about 6 rows from the floor seats) which are the seats I typically have when I go. I mention that not to brag, but to show how different the crowd is. I used to have these same seats for years when the Warriors were terrible. Every night even when we knew we were going to get our asses kicked, the crowd was amazing. People high fiving and fist pumping after made buckets and stellar plays. Last night, man, it was just disappointing.

The game was a blowout but there were so many exciting moments that I felt like I was the only one celebrating. The most notable was when Steph Curry crossed up Marvin Williams and made him fall, then hit a 3. I stood up immediately after he made him fall and had my hands up before the shot went up because I knew it was coming. I looked around and literally no one within eye shot stood up or was even cheering hard. WTF. When the opposition shot freethrows, you could hear crickets.

The Warriors crowd has been the best for years, but now that the team has achieved success, some of the "real" fans are either priced out or have sold their seats and a mark-up to those who just want to be able to say they were there. I guess that's the natural order of things, but it really reduced my overall level of enjoyment from attending the game.

I know the playoffs atmosphere will still be crazy and great from the Warriors crowd just because of the intensity of the game, but it's unfortunate to notice such a substantial drop off from the regular season games.
