So, we all know that despite their best efforts, this team will still need help in order to qualify for the post-season. There's an old saying among the church going flock in my neck of the woods that goes something like this. "The good lord helps those who helps themselves," so let's start there.

After a Monday night disaster in which Washington had everything to gain, and nearly everything to lose, they now face the daunting task of putting another National TV loss behind them, doing a quick turn around, and traveling to Chicago for game one of two "must win" games just to get into conversations about the playoffs. A loss on Saturday, and all talk surrounding this team will center around upcoming contracts, personnel moves, and a draft that's still months away.

Based on that Monday night performance, even die-hards are finding it difficult to see a pathway to a game 17 this year. The more pressing question right now is, will this team give their most ardent followers (with help) reason to continue hope going into game 16? For me, I believe that it ends in Chicago....Bears 23 - 17

But wow, I never have given thought to something you mentioned.
If the skins lose out....I wouldn't be shocked if the entire coaching staff gets replaced and/or Cousins gets tagged again or allowed to walk.

And for the record, I got us losing 19-32 with Kirk throwing for 40 of 50 and two TDs.

Our Defense is going to make Matt Barkley look like Peyton Manning and Jordan Howard look like Riggo.

The Bears suck. They may be "scrappy," but they still have a sieve like defense and little to no playmakers. Jay Bellamy? Ummm....no.

Does this mean that the redskins WILL win? Ummmm.........no.

I hope the redskins win. I think the redskins SHOULD win. I'd like the Redskins to put a worse team like Chicago out of their misery early, a la Green Bay a few weeks ago, but I imagine that would be a Christmas Miracle.

Can I change my prediction??

I think Kirk goes 40 of 50 with three TDs, but Hopkins misses two Extra points and all three of his field goal attempts thus accounting for our 19 points.

And Rob Kelly has 14 rushing attempts for 17 yards.. all in the 1st quarter as we will abandon the run from about 10 minutes into the first quarter until next season.

Not a bad day in Chicago weather wise. 35 degrees and no real wind, some sun. Guessing Skins pull this out but one of the two teams we need to lose (GB, Tam).. win. If I had my pick I would hope GB loses. GB has a tuffer game the following week than what Tampa has. NO gotz to do us a solid.
