wow...and an Atlanta fan as well.

I guess thanking you for your opinion is in order.
Objectivity is hard to find here with an Atlanta connection.

locations? rather play in Dallas
actual teams as we sit here today? rather play seattle ....least from the football I've seen thru 14 played games
I don't think it's an outlandish opinion. We only lost to them by 2 @seattle because of a blown call that would have put us in field goal range for the win.

I agree based on what's been seen to date between the lines.
I have zero problem saying Seattle is the team to beat. Something to be said about being there before in the playoffs.

No. If they would have called that correctly they would have played 4th down again.

Yeah, the Falcons should have been given a break on Julio Jones' hands to the face off the line, but Seattle once again got bailed out by the refs. Comical.

On NFLN that night, they edited Jones release off the line from an earlier play to make it look like Seattle was the only side to commit a penalty there.

I remember some buzz about that. That's straight up dishonest and deceitful.

Shit like that leads to the "fuck the media" attitude that these guys have.

2 great parts of the nation ... one team proven to be one of the best over the last couple of years and one team whose offense is admirably led by a rookie quarterback and running back, good looking future and present. My choice is Dallas because of politics of all things.

My true team that I would like to play for is the Detroit Lions, because of extreme homerism.

I see this as entertainment...my entertainment and I think I'm far from the only one here that views this the same way.

Absolutely. I comment on your Don Quixote routine, because I find it highly entertaining.

I notice your passive aggressive nature, because that's MY nature too.

Don Quixote PDay said:
I just thought I'd give you what you seek. Superior intellect

Not talking about football, but snark about my motivations. And PA as hell. Saying, 'giving you what you want,' when what you're saying is 'you're an a-hole.'

And I get it, hell, we can all get football knowledge from all kinds of sources, but it's only here we can get gold like that above. I'm WAAAAY more fascinated with what makes Hank Kingsley tick, with his multiple teams, and his weird negative fascination with Seattle, than with his opinions on football.

Don't get me wrong, there are some excellent football minds in here, a couple of them may even post on the Dallas boards. I've learned some stuff by reading football posts. Some excellent Denver, and KC, fans here.

But what makes this place tick is the back and forth, like with any message board. To ME, guys like NEPATS and Hank are fascinating because they comment on anything Seattle. You don't hold yourself to just Seattle, upthread you're on about Atlanta for some reason... (that huge Dallas/Falcon rivalry?) And I've seen you get into it with all kinds of other fans too.

When you claim that it's everyone ELSE getting butt-hurt, that's unfortunately catnip for me. Can't resist.

All in good fun though. All part of the entertainment. I know there's no 'win' to be had here.

Hey now!

I tick like everybody else.....

I took some shots at Atlanta, and even Philly.

But Seattle is just so much more fun and relevant to me since I live in their area.

We know what Seattle's HFA is like in the playoffs. Dallas has played very well this year so i'll be curious to see how the new era of Cowboys football does with HFA throughout. I honestly think teams will have a tough time in Dallas.

It's not the gaping margin you think it is.

Points allowed per game rank

2. Seattle 16.8
4. Dallas 18.4

....but I probably would lean Dallas.

Dallas controls the ball more though, There defense hasn't been on the field nearly as much as Seattle's ... That's an area where Seattle needs to improve ...

Angry Dick Sherman:nod:
No he's just misunderstood

I should have been more with the times for sure, but I went with his (Baldwin's) nickname...

Sherman I think lost it for a second and couldn't/wouldn't backtrack.

I did see that the Wee One has come out with a benign supportive comment to the effect that he'd throw from the 1 yard line again if it was deemed to be the correct option.....

So it's all good in the land of The 12.

Sherman has been much angrier than ADB as of late.
The wee little Rusty one also opened one of his press conferences with "don't ya'all make me take your credentials this morning.
Yep life is good while you're winning.

Shhhhh don't tell @chf we were talking about Seattle again. He hates that we expose the rest of the country to the local media and fanfare.

The only news I heard about Seattle this year, was when they beat the Pats in Foxborough. Was that newsworthy?

You better believe it was. That was Seattle's 2nd SB. Look even Lamb fans are still talking about it.
