I don't think it's an outlandish opinion. We only lost to them by 2 @seattle because of a blown call that would have put us in field goal range for the win.

I agree based on what's been seen to date between the lines.
I have zero problem saying Seattle is the team to beat. Something to be said about being there before in the playoffs.

2 great parts of the nation ... one team proven to be one of the best over the last couple of years and one team whose offense is admirably led by a rookie quarterback and running back, good looking future and present. My choice is Dallas because of politics of all things.

I'm WAAAAY more fascinated with what makes Hank Kingsley tick, with his multiple teams, and his weird negative fascination with Seattle, than with his opinions on football.

Don't get me wrong, there are some excellent football minds in here, a couple of them may even post on the Dallas boards. I've learned some stuff by reading football posts. Some excellent Denver, and KC, fans here.

But what makes this place tick is the back and forth, like with any message board. To ME, guys like NEPATS and Hank are fascinating because they comment on anything Seattle. You don't hold yourself to just Seattle, upthread you're on about Atlanta for some reason... (that huge Dallas/Falcon rivalry?) And I've seen you get into it with all kinds of other fans too.

When you claim that it's everyone ELSE getting butt-hurt, that's unfortunately catnip for me. Can't resist.

All in good fun though. All part of the entertainment. I know there's no 'win' to be had here.

I took some shots at Atlanta, and even Philly.

But Seattle is just so much more fun and relevant to me since I live in their area.

We know what Seattle's HFA is like in the playoffs. Dallas has played very well this year so i'll be curious to see how the new era of Cowboys football does with HFA throughout. I honestly think teams will have a tough time in Dallas.

Dallas controls the ball more though, There defense hasn't been on the field nearly as much as Seattle's ... That's an area where Seattle needs to improve ...

Sherman I think lost it for a second and couldn't/wouldn't backtrack.

I did see that the Wee One has come out with a benign supportive comment to the effect that he'd throw from the 1 yard line again if it was deemed to be the correct option.....
