Who would you rather have rest of the season in 0.5 PPR? Mike Wallace or devante Adams?

Check this out:
Wallace: 67 targets; 39 recpt; 614 yards; 4 TD; plays on 75.9% of offensive snaps
Adams: 65 targets; 44 recpt; 465 yards; 6 TD; plays on 75.9% of offensive snaps

Pretty close.
I'd lean toward Wallace.
Adams has to fight for targets with Nelson, Cobb, Janis and Montgomery. GB does spread the ball around.
Whereas Wallace seems to be the go-to guy with maybe Pitta to steal looks.

Thanks yep I knew it was a slight lean towards Wallace. Trying to make room for Thomas Rawls next week. I'm gonna try Adams and one of my Minnesota defense or
Ravens for Wallace

Well, I'll tell ya... it wouldn't shock me if Adams doesn't slow down though. You could argue that part of Adams' success is because Nelson and Cobb were not 100%.... but maybe - just maybe - Adams is auditioning for a lead role in 2017. Nelson is 31. (Cobb only 26.) And if you recall, Cobb did not do so well as the WR1 in 2015 while Jordy was out. Adams could be that guy.

True true. I just made a offer to someone for Brady to try to make room for Rawls. I offered my Andrew luck, Dion Lewis, devante Adams for tom Brady and Richard Matthews

Earlier in the week I was watching one of those "helpful" ESPN videos with Field Yates and Matt Berry... they're throwing out these amazing statistics... how a player did against a 4-3 defense... how they were a target monster on 3rd downs... blah, blah, blah...

No kidding, some of the stats that they rattled off were incredible.

And I thought, wouldn't it be nice to have access to those kind of detailed, specific stats?

And then I remembered.... even with all of those stats in their arsenal.... the ESPN guys are terrible at predicting anything.

So I was reading a thread on another site about TY Hilton and it suddenly occurred to me..............

I play in 5 leagues, own him in 3, and in 4 of the 5 leagues I play in, the teams that own him are in the playoffs if they started today. Anybody else see a player like that?

In preparation for today's onslaught of football, I'm watching The Mary Tyler Moore Show marathon on the Sundance Channel.

In the current episode: Ted falls for Chuckles the Clown's daughter.

Let the hilarity ensue!

I love it when Nance, in his subtle, reserved way, gives Simms the ol' STFU.

Was just catching up on updating my 2017 pre-season spreadsheet. There are currently several players that were:
  • Not on the 2016 preseason ADP rankings of the top 370
  • Not on the 2016 preseason ECR rankings of the top 357
  • Not drafted in the 2016 KOTF top 168
Non-kickers with at least 50 fantasy points so far, they are:
QB: Brian Hoyer, Cody Kessler
RB: Matt Asiata, Jalen Richard
WR: Adam Thielen, Tyreek Hill, Jeremy Kerley, Cameron Meredith, Taylor Gabriel
TE: Jack Doyle, C.J. Fiedorowicz
D/ST: Falcons

Of the average consensus picks...

QB Cam Newton was essentially the the first QB off the board last summer. There are 15 QB ranked ahead of Clark Kent currently.

RB Ezekiel Elliott was the consensus RB first off the board. Currently there are 2 RB rank ahead of him. (DJohn & DeMarco)

WR Antonio Brown was the consensus WR nabbed first. Ditto, only 2 WR rank ahead of him. (Evans & Julio)

TE Gronk is the first TE taken by a mile. Currently 6 TE have more points than The incredible Bruce Banner.

Look at that, Jordan Reed hurt again...who was that preseason who was convinced he was worth a second round pick?

Deanpet21 was the poster, but he's a Redskin homer so no surprise. I did hear Reed was going to be OK and he did put up 21 points in standard today.
