They are not even allowing the people who live along this road access to the beach side and have told them it could be months until the road is repaired

Hotels in Gainesville are filled with evacuees and Linesmen for the utilities etc. I believe most of the roads are open again though several were blocked off with flooding and downed power lines. 2 million were without power in the immediate aftermath though it has been restored to many.

All this and we got very lucky. Had it veered just a little bit to the left its impact would have been far greater. There was no way to know what it would do exactly when the decision to postpone was made. But the narrative from mediot attention whores in Louisiana was that it was all some kind of grand conspiracy to avoid cuz they skeered....which is simply laughable.

Nevermind the millions of dollars that home date would bring or that this was scheduled to be by far Florida's biggest recruiting weekend.

I didn't read the 10 pages but they have to play this game and all of the games on their schedule...

Can't get an extra bye week to heal up...

Should have played today or tomorrow...

I should have put Option 3

The SEC for not growing some BALLS and make these two play
This is the right answer. A few years ago this conference forced the UGA men's basketball team to play 2 games IN ONE DAY during the SEC men's basketball tournament ( which the Bulldogs went on to win ) and they did this to protect the sanctity of a shitty postseason basketball tourney yet now they can't find a way for 2 teams to play a game in the next 8 weeks to protect the legitimacy of the SEC football title??? Give me a freaking break

That looks like some of our normal lease roads here in the oil patch...AFTER they've been bladed!

I'm assuming that Gator fans have vehicles? Correct?

Gainesville is 2 hours from Tampa.....it's about 2.5 hours from Tally....2 hours from Polk County, 2 hours from Ocala and just minutes from the trailer parks that your fan base inhabit.

Since when is it necessary for UF fans to stay in hotels to attend a game. Drive in and drive home.

Not everything needs to be a drama in Gainesville, does it?

Oh look who came over to this board to follow me around over here since I had not posted much on the other board and it was therefore not possible to follow me around over there.

This the second thread you've followed me around in to post the exact same ignorant nonsense within 10 minutes. Get a life.

Answer the question, king of the junior college education.

Can a few Gator fans be inconvenienced for the betterment of others?

Many Gators were inconvenienced to help others Super Suds. We postponed our game rather than tie up resources needed in recovery and cleanup efforts. That was very inconvenient for us.

Why so angry? You know that professional help is just a phone call away.

Angry? Not even close. There is nothing you could ever say that would make me angry. I simply don't care enough about you for that.

You however are obviously quite emotionally invested in following me around and obsessing about me. It's quite pathetic.
