As much as I hate and loathe Mark May, he made a point at half that neither team can make excuses on the weather as both have to play in it. One looked like they had a plan, the other didn't.

And on another note, why is it when a running QB comes in, and everyone and their momma knows he's gonna run it, can our defense not figure this out and stop him? Makes me furious beyond belief.

Can't make excuses about the weather, 100% agree. What is causing me significant hypertension and my hair to fall out is that despite Kizer obviously not able to grip the football and the WRs having such difficulty with the conditions, Kelly kept chucking the ball in the air. WTF, I don't care if they were stacking the box, so was ND, but NC state had the mental capability to understand the situation and conditions. Bringing in their running QB to limit transitions of the ball to limit mistake possibilities....smart....ND not so much. Good lord, I haven't been this pissed about an IRish team.....ever, even the 2007 team....AaaaHhhhhhhh fffuuuuuucccckkkkk

The weather wasn't the problem. It was the play calling. It seemed like every series started with ND at second and ten due to an incomplete pass on first down.
