IM actually OK with the decision. We get to see Colt against a starting defense for a bit, and figure out if we are screwed in the event KC gets injured. I dont want to see CM start 16 games, but if he has to come in, I think he has what we need to keep us afloat.

I guess I'm ok with it although I have to believe KC could use the reps.

Better than last week. As I said, I like what Im seeing from the defense, especially since we had a few hwalthy scratches. CM has stepped up a notch on my board.

Matt Jones... worries me.

Put down the pipe.. Right now it looks like Doctson will start the season on the PUP list. Harris, Thompson and Diggs were brought in for their size. One of these three makes initial roster unless Doctson is able to walk and chew bubble gum by MOnday.

You don't know that for sure about Doctson. Even if Doctson is not ready why not just go with 5 wr's?

So you seriously think we should go into the season with NOT a single WR over 6 foot?? Really?? We have no running game, so I figure we will take six WRs and maybe even 7.

We did it last year and KC set a franchise record in passing. The height thing is way overblown. Jones injury puts a damper on things.

The Height thing is way under rated... by you. We sucked ass in the redzone mainly because the ONLY redzone target we had was Reed. Add another guy who can actually go up and get the ball, and that changes. Doctson was supposed to be that guy... but he wont even see the field before week 8 at this point.

Actually no we were NOT.

And if Doctson starts the season on the PUP list, he cant even get on field practice work till week 6, so yea... week eight. If he doesnt play next week, we wont see him til week eight.
