LHPs
1-Choo (RF) ---- Once healthy
2-Desmond(CF)
3-Beltre(3B)
4-Beltran(DH)
5-Lucroy(C)
6-Odor(2B)
7-Rua(LF)
8-Moreland(1B)
9-Andrus (SS)

RHPs
1-Choo (RF) ---- Once healthy
2-Desmond(CF)
3-Mazara(LF)
4-Beltre(3B)
5-Beltran(DH)
6-Lucroy(C)
7-Odor(2B)
8-Moreland(1B)
9-Andrus (SS)

I'd platoon Rua & Mazara, and let Profar get everyday ABs in AAA, with Beltran on board, there's no everyday spot for him, yes this is contingent on Choo's health, so its still a crapshoot

With the everything else going on, I could tolerate Profar and Beltran alternating in LF til Choo was healthy

I would put Profar @ 1B for LHPs and have Moreland sit.

I have to say Moreland plays regardless of which hand the pitcher throws with. Profar is not that great batting from the right side and Moreland is on a hot streak and I see no reason to cool him off. We have a habit of doing that.

What were the Jays thinking last night? Putting Feldman out there against a team he suited up with that morning. :L

Whats wrong using Profar just the way we have. DH/PH & utility giving rest to IF in these hot months?

Showcase the hell out of him if they really do intend to trade him.

How do you guys think the line up will shake out?

I'd go with a general everyday line up of :

Profar
Desmond
Mazara
Beltre
Beltran
Lucroy
Odor
Moreland
Andrus

For me, it's:

Profar
Desmond
Beltran
Beltre
Odor
Lucroy
Mazara
Moreland
Andrus

When Choo is back, he takes Profar's spot.

LOL what is the GM for the Jays thinking today? He traded to get a guy who could not get important outs in an extra inning game.

Maybe the best lineup in baseball now with a solid staff. Definitely all-in for this season and I'd give them as good a shot as anyone.

The farm is pretty depleted now, but you gotta make those moves and take your shot when you can.

Lol. There a Blow Jobs fan on the main MLB board telling me we don't have the rotation to win it all because our team ERA is so high. Never mind that we've been pitching with 2/5 of our rotation for the whole month of June and Perez had an unusually bad month.

Then the dunce on MLB Central said Texas won't have even close to the best rotation in October.

Hamels, Darvish, Lewis (assuming), Perez

Yeah that's got a pretty good shot at being the best post season rotation

Still have Matuella, Mendez, Guzman, Cordell, Gallo, and Profar...they will be okay and will reload it soon.

We need to focus on picking up some high ceiling pitching prospects soon. The only person I hated giving up in the Hamels trade was Thompson.

It has been annoying to see NL clubs take our lower ranked guys and have success...CJ Edwards, Hendricks, and Eickhoff make no damn sense.

Yeah that's got a pretty good shot at being the best post season rotation

The postseason is such a different animal than the regular season, I'll never understand the hard-on people have for "rotation stats."

In October, you need a good rotation, a great offense, and a killer bullpen.

Exactly, and we might have the best bullpen in baseball now.

We lost 2, 3 & 5, Other than that it was untouched, it's still a stout system, just a little less top heavy, of which I only considered Brinson elite
