Choo leads off when healthy. He's the walk machine.
Agreed, but until that happens....

I'd platoon Rua & Mazara, and let Profar get everyday ABs in AAA, with Beltran on board, there's no everyday spot for him, yes this is contingent on Choo's health, so its still a crapshoot
With the everything else going on, I could tolerate Profar and Beltran alternating in LF til Choo was healthy
I have to say Moreland plays regardless of which hand the pitcher throws with. Profar is not that great batting from the right side and Moreland is on a hot streak and I see no reason to cool him off. We have a habit of doing that.I would put Profar @ 1B for LHPs and have Moreland sit.
Why do you ask? That's the Jays. lolWhat were the Jays thinking last night? Putting Feldman out there against a team he suited up with that morning.![]()
Showcase the hell out of him if they really do intend to trade him.Whats wrong using Profar just the way we have. DH/PH & utility giving rest to IF in these hot months?
How do you guys think the line up will shake out?
I'd go with a general everyday line up of :
Profar
Desmond
Mazara
Beltre
Beltran
Lucroy
Odor
Moreland
Andrus

Maybe the best lineup in baseball now with a solid staff. Definitely all-in for this season and I'd give them as good a shot as anyone.
The farm is pretty depleted now, but you gotta make those moves and take your shot when you can.
Still have Matuella, Mendez, Guzman, Cordell, Gallo, and Profar...they will be okay and will reload it soon.
We need to focus on picking up some high ceiling pitching prospects soon. The only person I hated giving up in the Hamels trade was Thompson.
Also Tanner Roark with the Nats...It has been annoying to see NL clubs take our lower ranked guys and have success...CJ Edwards, Hendricks, and Eickhoff make no damn sense.
Yeah that's got a pretty good shot at being the best post season rotation
The postseason is such a different animal than the regular season, I'll never understand the hard-on people have for "rotation stats."
In October, you need a good rotation, a great offense, and a killer bullpen.
If not, damn close.Exactly, and we might have the best bullpen in baseball now.
