Just a rehab assignment, still needed his 40 man spot, his rehab can't go on forever either he'd eventually have to be brought back up

Yeah, the 40 man roster thing always throws me. Fielder was moved to the 60 day DL to make room for Beltran, I assume the two catchers were DFA'd to make room for Luc and Jeffy (yes I have already given them nicknames. Get on board).

On paper, it looks like the rangers really got a great deal signing Beltran and Lucroy w/o giving up Mazara, Profar, OR Gallo.

And yet we still have to hear a bunch of meaningless jabber from Jason an hour before the trade deadline. The Cowboys have very little to talk about right now other than the players who they will not have via suspension/injury on defense.

Need another starting pitcher to step up. Hamels has been great. Need Darvish to get back to being himself and need either Martin or someone else to really step up. I'm not counting on Holland or Colby the rest of the way.

I have a feeling Brinson is gonna be really good, so still stings but maybe a little less than Gallo but who knows, he could end up better.

Wonder what this means for the possibility of resigning Desmond, many thought Brinson would step in next season.

A funny on MD 20-20.....the great basketball player, Oscar "Big O" Robertson did a commercial for this horrid product. And the spot was shot at the "on campus gym" at then, Memphis State U, and I got to see some of it being filmed when I was like 19 years old.

It was pretty cool.....But to answer your question, HELL NO.....And good for them, I may add.

Darvish has pitched well but offense let him down 1 game and BP another. He is still getting himself back into the swing of things. I can understand the feeling of not expecting Lewis back but if he could get back with a month to go in the season that may be enough time to get things going again. But my real hope is that whoever we have out there can get us to the 5-6 inning and the BP take over much in the way KC did.

I don't mind it in the playoffs. And that lineup will look really nice.
