The players from that draft class are Moses and Breeland. Long has a chance to start this year and if he doesn't win it I call it a failure b/c the competition is average at best. IMO Murphy should have a role on special teams. I don't see him contributing much on defense at all. If so great. These were my predictions 4 months ago and I am sticking with them.

perhaps TM wont challenge for starting time this year but in 17 he could once he learns the nuances of the position . Long could very well be the starter and at worst the 1st interior o/lineman off the bench for the center of the o/line he could be the starting center in 17

And thats what really bothers you. Sure as the sun rises every year you develop a man crush on a particular player. And if the Skins dont draft that player, you will dog the hell out of what ever player we DID pick over you beloved. On the off chance we did pick your man crush ( in this case Moses) you will talk that player up as if he were the greatest draft pick ever and continue to belittle and berate or look for issues in the player you didnt want us to take. Thats the real issue here. You felt MOses should have been drafted in the second round over Murphy. So short of Murphy making it into the Hall of fame, NOTHING he can do will be good enough.

Who gives a fuck?? Jackson is not on this team... and you are getting all Viagra Prime over Long possibly being cut to some how PROVE you were right and we should have drafted Jackson instead him. Flip side is most Skins fans are not thumping their chest over our draft picks failing simply because they wanted the other guy. I hated the RG3 move more than any one on the planet. Long will make the team b/c the competition is just not there. The way you guys talk up Long he should start with no problem. But the problem is that Lavou or Kojo have a good chance of taking the starting job away. Now they are making Long take center snaps which makes him more versatile. So of course is he going to make the team. Not a bold prediction at all. GJ who was healthy at the time was the better olineman and played against better competition in college. So yes the pick Long over him was a stunner. GJ as of right now has the better NFL career.

As far as Murphy goes yes he would probably make the team b/c of Special teams and draft pick status. I don't see him doing anything for us on defense. Like I said before Murphy is not a top 4 DE on the team right now. Plus Hood has more experience at the position. So Murphy has a tough road ahead.

Don't even argue Jackson vs Long right now. Its not even close. Im doing this to prove we took the wrong guy. I have a right to disagree with our draft picks. Of course I route for them but I just thought Jackson was a no brainer at draft time. I just don't see how you guys are impressed with Murphy and Long right now.
