To be fair, I dont think you can chalk this up to people hating on us. PFF has a pretty straight forward system for grading so I dont think its very opinion based. Just how theyre system grades. That said, whether their system is accurate is still up for debate.

You can have the 22nd ranked personnel but if you have the right QB, it all looks better.

Opinions vary on that. I don't think they are the best team on paper imo it's dallas ( yes I threw up in my mouth a little) if Romo stays upright I think they are the team to beat. That being said if he Romo does stay healthy and the skins win the division I wouldn't be shocked either.
I personally don't give a bucket of shit about what any expert or blogger thinks.Redskins have as good of shot as anyone to take this division.

On paper we have more talent and have a lot more depth. I'm trying to explain this to Cowboys fans on the NFL forum board under who wins the nfc east. Cowboys fans think they have a better defense even though we added Galette and Norman. Its just funny. They are so over rated this year.

It doesn't matter. Of all people Redskins fans should not care how a team looks on paper or during the offseason. Injuries will decide a lot as will other factors. Depth is nice but that won't necessarily help you if say you lose your starting QB. We can all say what we like - it will be proven one way or another on the field.

Of course depth can help. Dallas lost Romo and there season was over b/c they did not have a capable backup. If we Lose KC, McCoy can come in an win games for us. This is why we have a better chance to win the division than Dallas b/c of our depth.

Perhaps but only to likely a small degree. Do you honestly believe that McCoy could guide this team for a majority of the season & still keep them at a level even close to Cousins? I respect McCoy, but I don't think so. He is a capable backup & can do good enough for a handful of games but probably not the long haul.

The majority of teams in the NFL cannot survive losing their starting QB especially if they are trying to make a SB run. Luck is a huge factor for any team - mainly in the injury dept. Therefore these talent ratings don't mean as much as you think.

McCoy is better than what Dallas has.

BTW Deanpet how exactly are you arriving at your conclusion for McCoy? His career really does not show that he is ready to light it up in the NFL. He had his struggling rookie season w/ the Browns & then another ho-hum season w/ that team which included mostly losses.

His next 4 seasons he was pretty much non-existent save for that 3 game stretch w/ the Redskins a few years ago. Just about any QB can have a mini streak where they do well. Again - I love McCoy as a backup & believe he is almost perfect for the role. However - to just assume that he can take over if Cousins gets hurt or falters is just a stretch. I hope he does as well as possible but trying to be objective in this case.

I would think it was more a reflection on the Dallas backups than Colt. We saw just how incapable they were last year.
