I've got to get a hold of one of those Royal fans so they can tell me how to stuff the ballot box for Justin Upton. I can see it now....Infante and Upton as starters in the AS game.
Tigers prospect JaCoby Jones promoted to Triple-A ToledI
It didn't take long for Jones to re-establish his value at the Double-A level in 2016. After serving a 50-game suspension for failing a drug test, Jones played in just 19 games for the SeaWolves, but hit a robust .301/.388/.589 with four home runs and 20 RBI. He also hit five doubles and two triples during that stretch, and stole two bases in three attempts. In 59 career games at the Double-A level, Jones is hitting .279/.359/.507.
People will point out his 3.97 ERA as a sign that he hasn't been that dominant, but if you look deeper at the numbers, there's a lot to like...
1.07 WHIP (best since 2012)
K/BB = 3.70 (also best since 2012)
K/9 = 9.6 (best since 2009)
7.0 hits/9 IP (best since 2011)
The ERA is elevated mainly due to two really horrible starts (yes, Smitty, I know they all count), and his home run rate. The most HR that JV has allowed in a season is 24. He's on pace to give up 28-29 this season.

Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Best Tiger pitcher over last two weeks
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
In three starts since May 21, Fulmer has recorded three wins and has an ERA of 0.40 and WHIP of 0.582. Overall, he has a 5-1 record and has struck out 44 in 41.2 innings.
Fulmer has been the Tigers most effective pitcher over the last two weeks. He has pitched at least seven innings in each of his three starts and has allowed just a single earned run on nine hits. Fulmer has also been a pillar of control, walking just four while striking out 22. He credits his success to the addition of an effective changeup to give him three strong pitches, as well as following the lead of backstops James McCann and Jarrod Saltalamacchia. He's on a great run right now and should clearly be in your lineup while he's this hot.
