Not worried about Detroit. Worried about the Rangers. We are beating ourselves by playing STUPID. He (Stupid) Has beaten us at the plate, base path and bull pen. That's my concern not Detroit.

Agreed.....If we semi-fixed ourselves internally, then the competition be damned. We'd be fine.

I decided I'm not watching any more till either Fielder gets his shit together or Banister pulls his head out of his ass about his insistence on hitting fielder in the middle of the order. I got better shit to do with my time.

He sure is being Wash like stubborn about Prince. Heard that the ball is coming off his bat at 88 mph. That's not good.

Im starting to think the FO is insistent on playing Fielder as well, in hopes that he turns it around soon. If he doesnt ever produce at a much better clip, the acquisition is going to be viewed as extremely bad, though it did allow for Odor to show up and perform well

And yes he is reminding me of RW. They need to take it in the chin like the Red Sox did with Pablo Sandoval and bench him. Now I understand he is out the remainder of the year but he lost his job regardless of them paying 5 years at $95 mill. Good for them. And if we can trade him and have to pay someone some money to take him then do it.

Never know about these things but that is possible and why I have stated a couple of times if we traded or picked up a player we are playing him regardless and many times over guys we have been bringing up thru the minors.

At what point if ever do they admit it as a mistake and let someone else have a shot, or at the very least, give someone else more PT. Next year?

Good question. But what a hole in the lineup we have at clean-up for an entire year. This team is so close to being a really good ball club. I would be fine with Rua splitting time with Mitch and getting rid of Fielder when Choo came back.

And case in point is Nicholas being sent down and Wilson and Holaday are on the club. He is the one that still should be here out of the three.

Fielder has always been a favorite of mine going back to Milwaukee, but taking his second half last year and his start this year into account, he's not getting it done. He's either still hurt or his decline caused by the injury has possibly severely shortened his career. Shame I really wanted to see him hit 30-35 hrs a year from the left side of the plate in Arlington for several years, but that didnt/won't happen.

You know how much I agree with this, and its like we would rather hold on to guys we know are nothing more than career third catchers vs letting a guy like Brett develop at the ML level. Baffling?

Will not watch.

I won't watch with that lineup either and its not just Prince. I have no desire to watch Alberto, Holaday, Prince or MM vs a Lefty

I heard Mike Ryhner on the Ticket this morning, and he was saying how much the pitching staff enjoyed working with Nicholas, so he was completely stunned when Holaday wasn't sent down.
