We basically give up a1, a 2, two 3s, and a 4th for a top rated QB. What's the problem. And we don't have holes to fill. Howie filled them in free agency, or won't you paying attention?

Again the Redskins fans kept trying to do this. You gave up 2 #1's, one next year and the one you will be spending to acquire this player.

Didn't the team say they would start Bradford and bring along Wenz?
Yeah Daniel seems to be the odd man out but they may hang onto him and flip Bradford next year.

You cry baby's have no clue!!! This is the move that had to be made and I've been telling you all for months!!! You should be happy as pigs in shit that I was wrong on the compensation. We get to keeper Fletcher Cox! So kudos to Howie for not having to include our best defensive player in the deal. You can bet there's a deal in place probably with Denver for Sammie Sleeves. When you have an opportunity to go up and get a franchise Qb you do it, period. You lose on 100% of the chances you don't take! For the record our best draft picks are the ones we trade up for! Get on board! It's a great day in Philly!
Totally agree!

lol ... in the end, how many less first rounders do we have today than we did yesterday? 1 ... that's what we "gave up". We didn't give up 2 firsts if we only have 1 less now :)

lol at Howie Roseman ... "Do you know who the Rams are taking?" Howie "No" ... "How sure are you that you are going to get the player you want?" Howie "we're very sure we're going to get the player we want."

We may be alone on this Wingman ... but I'm with you. I have no problem at all with the move. I even started a thread around two weeks ago saying "gun to my head, we trade up for Wentz".
Count me in Rey! I am totally on board!

I've heard this too, how is that possible unless you guys aren't taking a QB at #2? Seems like a really odd statement for a GM in his position unless QB is not the pick...Or he's just trying to be a wiseass lol...

I fully believe the two organizations talked and the Eagles do know "for sure" that the Rams are taking Goff. They can bs all they want, but I highly doubt the Eagles make that move unless they are 100% sure they are getting their guy whom I fully believe is Wentz.

What would the Rams gain by giving up that info to the Eagles at this point? The Rams could've used it as leverage against the Eagles and tried to get picks out of them by claiming they want the same guy as the Eagles, even if it's not true...

Ummmm, i can only assume your either kidding or delusional. Its ok to be optimistic but, reality needs to step in. Holes not filled yet

A reliable rb. Something matthewa is not and sproles cant carry the load

WR... especially one that can catch

LT to replace peters. Or a rt when johnson moves over. Peters is on bis last leg

Cb... still need a cb. I'm not sold on our cb's with only 1 returning healthy (rowe).

OLB...could still use some help there.

All these can be filled with these picks given up. And #8 this year fills one of them for a decade.

I think Bradford was traded first

Then Roseman is lying to his players and the public, or your wrong again.

"Let me be clear," Roseman said. "Sam Bradford is our starting quarterback. We told Sam that. We intend to support him, and the moves we made this offseason, we believe, will give us a chance to compete this season."

I just hope your not also wrong about the quality of the quarterbacks this year. Browns think you are.

The Browns were in position to finally land a quarterback after more than a decade of futility and turnover at the position. Cleveland has had 24 starting quarterbacks since 1999, but the club's new front office wasn't enthralled with Goff or Wentz and decided to get more picks to help first-year coach Hue Jackson build a winner.

That's what common sense tells me as well ... but if you watch the interview with Roseman he has a sly and almost smug look when discussing the question. It does not look at all like a guy who's not sure of who he's getting. The Rams certainly don't gain anything, but what would they lose by not telling the Eagles whom they are getting? They probably already tried plenty to get Cleveland to trade up and obviously the Browns had no interest in giving up any picks ... that was the only team they would even slightly consider trading with. The Eagles on the other hand likely don't do the trade unless they are convinced the Rams are not taking their guy ... so the point is moot regardless.

Teams don't keep a starter when they draft one at 2 and sign high price backup. Way too many resources at QB.

I think this team actually believes in sam. They plan on the draft pick mentoring behind Bradford. It allows us to be competitive this year (which is all I see us being, which only hurts us in the long run, as we are NOT going to take a step forward the year the rookie takes over). And if Bradford does well, they will likely trade him in 2017 to get something back they lost (probably hope'n for a 2nd rounder).

IMHO, Chase is the one that is really getting the shaft, not Bradford. Bradford is the starter and gets to perform for a trade to make money next year. Chase just got told your not starting this year, and your not starting next year or ever. Chase just got regulated to the Detmer career backup position (which will have him the most loved player on the roster soon). Anyone think Chase would take the deal to come here with this new info now?

People are trying to make more out of it than it is.. and just not listening to him.....

Eagles coach Doug Pederson said of Wentz and Goff: "These guys are pretty even. From all the physical tools, both of them are extremely gifted. Good arm strength, good mobility. Obviously, Carson is a little bigger, maybe a little better athlete right now. There's not much separating those two."

He is VERY SURE he will get his guy, because he is happy with either one.

Wrong again??? I'm pretty sure I've been spot on.

You said that we would be trading Cox as it relates to the subject matter at hand (trading up). You have admitted to being wrong about that. I, along with many, have said it is just dumb to trade away your best player that way. Not only did we not trade him, we extended him. Did you forget to admitting you were wrong to?

And you completely avoided the aspect of the post above. You said Bradford trade is already done and a part of this. Roseman statements contradict this and would mean he has lied to Bradford and publically so multiple times. Thus, yes, I think your wrong again and just not listening.

I sincerely hope your not wrong a 3rd time - and that whoever we get is actually franchise worthy. Strike 3 and your not only out - the eagles are set back for 5+ years (depending on how long it takes them to realize it)

Exactly why I didn't want to do this. It was too much for all that we need. It's not often we agree, but here we do. I hope Wentz is the man that brings us a SB. I'll be happy to say I was wrong and this was worth it. But, as of now, I don't see it being a good deal.

I'm in full agreement with you. In the end, Roseman is following a plan and imho not really evaluating the timing and players of such a deal. Step 1 is get your quarterback, so he is going to do it no matter what. Planning ahead, and doing this next year by trading down and picking up another 1st next year would have been so much smarter, imho. But Roseman is gambling and all but admits it.

"You have to be very comfortable with both of those quarterbacks and believe they have a shot to be great, Pro Bowl-caliber," Roseman said. "It's hard to be great if you don't take some risks."
