top three things I dont want to see in the draft

2. Philly draft a QB any higher than the 4th round. Giving Philly a QB that can stay healthy and start.. bad for us.

3. Washington Draft Kelly at 21. Yes we need a center, no I dont think his talent level is high enough to warrant a panic pick and we can get a starting center later in the draft.

I agree on number 1, that would be really bad for us.

Kelly, I mostly agree on. I too dont really think he's worth the pick and there are much better choices BUT if SM took him wouldnt we all just say "ya know, he probably knows what he's doing"

As for Philly Im PRAYING they take a QB. I would love to see them trade up to #2 and take Wentz or sit pat and take Lynch. There are very few QBs I think might be worth a pick in this draft and those are not 2 of them.

I see where you are going with this. And if we were talking about a guy in the conversation for best O-lineman in this draft... I would say 21 would be a steal. But we are talking about the best center in the draft, and the talent drop off to the next guy is NOT the same.

That may well be. But I think this team would be better served grabbing D-line help with the first two picks and bringing in a center in the 3rd. That or trading down and still grabbing 2 young D-lineman early.

Elliott is the number one guy on my board. If these Boys draft Elliott it would absolutely be horrible not only for us but also for the rest of the league. These Boys had a bad yr and one the main reason Murray leaving due to FA's. The possibility of them drafting Elliott is always possible, but most here believe the Boys will draft Ramsey. But my gut feeling is they will not draft Elliott, why well b/c Jones has a crush on RB from Arkansas. Arkansas have two good RB's in this yr's draft, one of them is my board. Jones will pass on Elliott and draft a RB later. Jones like to trade down also.

Drafting Kelly has always been a no no for me. It just doesn't seem like an appealing choice. There's just to many other DM (Different makers) at 21. We can trade back an get Kelly in the 2nd Rd. At 21 I BELIEVE we need DEF help, really at any Def position. Lately I really like Jackson from Houston but I would prefer a DL or LB at 21.

Shark you need to re scout Kelly again. The guy has been a top 30 player on most pundits boards. There is a huge drop off from Kelly to the 3rd or 4th center in this draft. The drop off from the #21 DL vs #53 Dlineman is very small. That is why we can wait until the 2nd round to get a DL. Play to the draft strengths.

I am pretty much past the pt of worrying about the players on other teams & don't really want a setup like last season where the Redskins pretty much won by default. If this team ever wants to make a legit SB run they have to be ready to beat all comers.

I think that SM & co will get this team to this pt if not now then in the reasonably near future. If other NFC-E teams improve next season to the pt where the Redskins cannot win the division - so be it. Time to retool & ensure that this is a legit contender every year. Let the other teams do whatever they have to do - the Redskins need to worry about themselves.

but i always fall back to this take the BPA and stop trying to be cute because in the end you get lesser talent . so if center is judged to be the best then pull the trigger , if d/line is then pull it and stop trying to out think the room

skinsdad you cant compare Kelly to Boehm but you can compare Butler to Johnson or Clark. The gap of talent is closer with the dlineman than the centers.

my point is that the dline talent this year is special. we can get a guy with 1st round ability in the 2nd b/c its so deep this year. Kelly has never missed a game in the SEC. That means something. You need to re scout.

You are crazy to think Glasgow who got killed at the Senior bowl is just as good of prospect as Kelly. You can make an argument for Martin but that is it.
