I agree, and the contender potential is always there with the Indians with that starting staff and closer

Some "experts" picked the Tribe to win the AL Central. Of course, I'd like to kick those experts in the nuts, but whateves.

If the Mets encounter any kind of competition in the NL East this year, their fans are in for a bowl of reality puffs.
True, but thats only coming from the Nats, who Im not really in love with

The Marlins are the same team every year

And the Phillies and Braves, jesus, I wish the Yankees were in that division

Yeah, now the teams play 19 games against each of their teams in the division. It seems like even the Mets couldn't fuck that up

At the risk of sounding like a homer, I don't think it's fair to group the Indians with the Marlins, Phils, Braves and Reds. Those four were quite possibly the four worst teams in baseball last year, combining for a 265-383 record. I'm not saying the Indians are contenders or anything, but they did have one of the top pitching staffs in baseball last year and most believe their offense should be better this year than last.

I agree. Indians are a solid team. My mistake

Indians can be contenders. I wouldn't rule them out. They underachieved last year for sure.

This Story guy is more prolific than Sidd Finch

The guy's like a fucking wrecking ball that's no longer connected to the chain. I have a feeling some major regression to the mean is in store for him. Most scouting reports that I've read of his has him as an adequate SS. Then again, scouts aren't always right, so maybe he will be a force.

He's probably the headiest aphrodisiac for fantasy baseball butt rapes we've seen in a long time, though. In one league I'm in, a guy just traded away Edwin Encarnacion to get Story. . .

Braves had late leads in about 3 of their games too but can't close games out. Should have won a couple this year

The correction is coming, and all fantasy owners would be smart to sell him high

His track record in the minors speaks to a massive strikeout rate.....Even between the 7 HR's, he is starting to sprinkle in those 2 strikeout games

Once pitchers adjust to him, this guy may be striking out in a big way, without the dingers

A case can be made that they could score more runs this year even if they didn't improve their lineup from 2015. The sequencing of their hits last year was absolutely horrendous. Their hits all came with no one on base. Their BAs with men on and RISP were both well below league average.

The Cards look serious too, braves could of played them 20 times and lost all 20 games...EASY. Garcia and Martinez will carry that rotation again
playing the braves means nothing about the strength of the cards....the braves are just that bad

The 2015 Mets were 47-29 against their division. 43-43 vs everyone else.

Well they have it pretty much laid out for them again this year (although they lost a couple already this weekend).

I don't disagree, although I would expect the Nats to offer up more resistance than they did last year. Three fifths of the Nats' rotation performed well below their career averages. Seems that would have to improve to some extent. Or, maybe they'll shit the bed worse. We'll see.
