Apparently this entire team is going to be built purely off of draft picks Breed

No, he is not worth a 2nd rounder imo and doesn't fit the new culture. Pass!!!

Kam Chancellor made Megatron retire. He hits like a truck. He's outstanding on the run and support coverage. He sucks covering Tight ends. I'd hate to see him leave Seattle. He's worth a first rounder or 2 second rounders.

He's still relatively young.

Hit on Megatron:

I'd do it, he'd be our biggest hitter since you know who. Oh and he's really fucking good

Maybe its those 4 pro bowl nominations and two all pro 2nd team selections Chancellor has legitimately earned. Or It could be hi winning the Steve Largent Award (Hawks Man of the Year award) in 2014. He's also really really old at 27.

Yep - I would do this move in a heartbeat. However - I doubt it happens.

If I were the skins I'd make that trade in a heartbeat. However, realize he is also going to want a new contract. Wanted it last year, didn't get it, and I'm sure still wants it. He's still worth it depending on the money, IMO.

Redskins cautious approach to free agency for the best

If you have not already - read this article. It makes sense. Again - we are only in the first few days of free agency & this is where most teams overpay. The Redskins have been down this road before, and it doesn't work. Patience everyone.

No one is being impatient and if Kam's not part of any Scotty Mac plans moving forward. I'm cool with that. But there was some flat out ass backwards ridiculous shit being said in this thread. He isn't worth a 2nd rd pk....bullshit. He's not a part of the new culture, whatever the fuck that is, and its still bullshit. Particularly if you think back on last years FA and the signings of Galatte and Culliver. Both of whom had been in dust-ups in one way or another and provided very little faqr as on-field production.

As soon as Kam became a Redskin, if this trade took place. He would instantly be in the conversation of best player on the team regardless of position with only Twill giving him any challenge. He'd also be the most accomplished player on the team both individually and team-wise bar none.

I'm OK with the Skins not dropping big dollars on big name players thus far. They only thing I'd like to see change from say last year's free agency. Is getting significantly more production and results this year.

I am not saying that you or most fans are being impatient. I am stating that there are some folks here that are impatient & want everything to go back to the old ways. I already stated that I agree with you on Cam so I am not debating that. And yes - some questionable things are mentioned in this thread & elsewhere - no big deal - it happens here all of the time. I am learning to just ignore a lot of the BS mentioned here.

I wouldn't worry about their approach - the FO has a solid resume & I believe that they know what they are doing. Redskins should be fine. Peace.

Love Kam and his stated hero who he uses to hype his game up is ST.

That said, I see no way that Scot gives up a draft pick for him, even if he is only 27.

Build through the draft, fill in holes thru FA with 'prove it' contracts are the benchmark for him.

i think GMSM wants 10 total draft picks and a trade might happen for a 17 pick

I guess you couldn't sense my sarcasm :)

Probably so - it is sometimes hard to tell in this place. I even wonder if perhaps some of our crazy posters are total frauds & are sarcastic 100% of the time. Oh well - good one on your part & sounds like we are on the same page. :suds:

I still miss the good old days when I would warn the Family on Monday that the draft was this weekend. Then proceed to take over the big screen and the backup TV from around 11:00 Saturday morning until 2:00 AM Monday morning. This draft starting on Thursday night crap is for the birds.
