When you win a SB and have as much success as we have the past years you're going to lose good players. I see a lot of people whining like they did last year (not here), but it is going to happen. That is the business of the game. Next man in. Can't blame these guys for striking big contracts either. Money is money.

Interesting trade between the Dolphins and Eagles. Looks like the Maxwell/Alonso to the Dolphins is going through. The Dolphins also get the 13th pick in the 1st round and send their 8th pick in the 1st round to Eagles. So Eagles move up a few spots and dump a couple of possible bad contracts.

Which means Eagles get pick 8, Dolphins pick 13.

I'm convinced Randymon isn't even reading the discussion about the QB's at this point. What is starting to tick me off though is he is cherry picking just to argue points against Kaepernick and RGIII without showing any understanding of the discussion as a whole. And I'm still waiting for the answer to my question about what he thinks Osweiler is worth.

So, I will now ask a SECOND question: Randymon, who do you think Denver should commit to as a starting QB if the Broncos fail to retain Osweiler? I doubt I will see an answer to either question at this point, but it's always worth a shot.

IMO Eagles want Hargreaves. Dolphins have their CB now so move down.

Odd move by Dolphins I'd rather keep Grimes and the pick.

Osweiler it will be Kaepernick
I`m really hoing Denver finds a way to keep Trev. His value is unquestioned.

I agree with all the Saving money on Jackson , I don't see a reason not to retain him now ..

From the sound of it he is for sure gone. Atlanta and Chicago have him already at $7-8 million a year and that is just too rich for the Broncos. I will definitely miss him. Just like I still miss the guy he replaced in Woodyard. They are the type of guys that play with a lot of heart and play much bigger than they really are.

probably right ..damn you just had go there .. Common sense

This is why it's important to establish that all important talent conveyor belt. That way if a player gets too expensive to retain, you already have his replacement on the roster.

I am looking forward to seeing what we do after FA cools off, the timeframe we brought in guys like Manny Sanders, Darian Stewart etc.

Just hopefully not the James Casey, Shelley Smith, Gradkowski moves. :)

Nothing is easy in football.

But yes, position wise, unless they are a pro bowl pass rushing LB, you can replace LB easier then other positions.

This is where sometimes your significant other can cost you some big money. From the sound of it his wife and her tirades against the Dolphins was getting old. Not good when a player's wife is saying that the Dolphins stink and they don't like their starting QB and on and on.

Yeah to me it is the 2nd tier of FA that Elway really has done well. There have been some screw ups along the way but there have also been some ridiculous players come out of that group.

Chris Ivory signs with the Jags for $6M per......

What does that make CJ worth?

Think anyone (raiders/Jags)would be interested in a 6'2" 260 lb linebacker? I'm only 27 years older than Peyton. I could use a $5M bonus.

Well there goes Chase Daniel off the QB market. He is signing with the Eagles. I was hoping he would wait until the 2nd tier of FA started in a week and see if he could find a job where he could compete to start.
