NFL 1000: Ranking Top QBs from 2015

After Matt Miller of Bleacher Report published his article ranking Cuz 28th overall among 2015 QBs, he went on the Grant and Danny Show to answer some questions on why Kirk was ranked so low. Shortly afterwards, he texted the show's producer and advised that Kirk's accuracy score, which was originally 25/40, should've been 35/40, chalking that up to a 'clerical error.' The article updating his QB rankings is linked above. The new ranking for Cuz is still problematic since it still ranks him behind people like Romo, Cutler and Bridgewater, but this just shows how comical Matt Miller, who also refuses to say 'REDSKINS', can be.

Clerical error is as bogus as saying it wasn't me,, it was my intern who sent out the tweet whose just been fired. Did anyone who has any knowledge of the game whatsoever believe Kirk was among the worst QB's last season. Trust me when I tell you this much... KC will be considered among the best when next season is done. Yes, I believe he's that good.

miller is biased . if you cant say our team name then you arent an analyst anymore but a pundit and your views will be judged by me as such

miller has been for years consistently wrong about our needs and what we have drafted as walter football shows over and over again

take jaylon smith . he has us taking him at 16 for a couple of weeks knowing his season was gone before it started . why would you give up a 1st round pick for that ? no common sense in that . smith will be a mid round pick at best even if his talent is top ten

More on Miller: he was actually interviewed by Chad Dukes on the change in his rankings. Miller basically threw his staff under the bus, explaining that, although it was his name on the article, it was others who did the rankings. And he kept repeating that. How unbelievable is that?

You guys are all so damn sensitive lol. You're pissed he's behind Romo, Cutler, and Bridgewater? When Romo's healthy he is better and the other 2 are very debatable. Its not like he's comparing him to freaking Matt Cassel. I think some of you dont realize how many different views there are on Cousins (and other QBs) from a lot of respected football people.

So whats wrong with the ranking then? Hes ranked 15th. Which I assume should be the avg to above avg range. Just like the people around him in the rankings.

Actually, people are mad because it is a 2015 ranking. He ranked in the top ten in every major category and top 12 in all the categories. Romo was shit in 2015...Bridgewater handed the ball off really well. Cutler won like four games.

Over the last eight games, KC was a top three QB.

If it were only stats based yes. But it's not. "Cutler won 4 games" by the way is some pretty weak evidence for cousins over him.

This has to do with what you asked in the other thread btw.i don't think people think he'll regress in talent or on field play si much as they're more concerned his stats from this past year didn't correlate to his on field play and that they'll likely even out in 2016.

I won't be surprised if he regresses a bit. He was playing at an elite level at the end of the season. I don't see him yet as an elite qb. I do see him as a potential tier 2 qb. So if he comes down a bit this year it shouldn't be a surprise. What would be a surprise is if he continued the same level of play as last year. That would be a wonderful surprise.

I don't disagree. And KC will excel here. The main reason I don't expect him to be an elite QB, but the next tier down (which can still be a top 10 qb) is I just don't have enough playing time for him to feel comfortable anointing him. I see an elite QB as one that can win a game on his own. He carries his team. I'm not ready to say that KC can do this. I need to see more of his play the second half last year over another season. If he can do this, he will be the leader in his position next year, an all pro, and a very rich man. And we will be happy because the skins will again be in the playoffs and probably advance further.

at this point KC cant carry a team to victory . so elite is out of the question . i like KC , i think we can go places with him , we just need to let him develop and build a good to great defense around him
