This is pretty much a waste to even post this but looks like the " slight " improvement in intensity last two years has gone bye bye. Maybe 4 th qtr will better with the cash rearing it's head. Not that I expected much but still let's just drop it. Figure something else out. Hell, rather watch them compete in a skills challenge or NFL family feud format than this. :)

Hey randymon, I literally just noticed that it was on, then saw your thread. I don't know if I have ever watched more than 10 minutes of any Pro Bowl. Nor will I this time. The NFL needs to do something different, but I'm not sure what. It's unwatchable. Good thing the Lakers are on.

Any Broncos playing? No? Then I didn't watch. (Not that I usually do.)

Well, if you think about it, the current format IS a skills challenge.

I've always held low expectations on the Pro Bowl. (Or any All-Star game). Such things aren't really meant to be "real" games anyway. It's more a reward for the players, and a time to really just play to have fun. And you do see that: players having fun. And to be honest, I think that's the way it should be.

Somewhat true...I think if the game was more fun though you wouldn't have over half the players selected backing out. Seems like the players don't want to go. Those who get selected the first time seem to love it as it feels like a great honor but after that 1st time doesn't seem to matter to them a whole lot.

Fine. Let them have fun just don't advertise and promote it other than such.Even team Jerry Rice said during game he was disappointed and disgusted with the effort and product. Not television worthy. Their also risking injury just as much having " fun ".

I haven't watch it in years. I would rather see the Patriots and the Cards play for 3rd place.

I watched it when I was a kid. I don't remember the last time I spent more than 5 minutes watching it...

I was channel surfing last night and I noticed it was on. I watched one play and got bored.

Most of that is fear of injury.

Exactly. The only times I watch is if Denver players are in it. Still, you worry about them getting hurt. Nowadays, it means your prob playing in SB or declined for other reasons. I get it on all sides. I just think they should drop the game part and treat these guys and families that earned the honor to just a sweet vacation party in Hawaii and call it good. I know I won't bother. Unless of course they invite me personally.:)

I would love to see them go back to having the skills competition. I loved watching the top QB's compete like that. I would watch that in a heart beat. The actual game though no thank you.
