For our first round pick 1) Elliot 2) Reed 3) Kearse. One of these guys should be there when we pick assuming we are mid 20's.

I know you posted this awhile ago so do you think we still take a RB Elliott if he drops to #21? I rather improve our defense but SM has shown its BPA.

I would throw Doctson into the mix for our first round pick as well. Although Im starting to get the feeling he will get scooped up about 3-5 picks before we are on the clock.

Why are you guys thinking we should take Elliott? I just think we have higher needs especially on defense then to be taking a RB.

Ritz.... I for one dont think we should take Ellliot in the 1st. Sure i think kid MIGHT end up being a beast. But we have more pressing needs. WR, CB, Safety, among others. I think a RB in the first would be a luxury at present.

I agree especially on the other side of the ball. Lots of good CB's and D-lineman (should) be available at #21.

Why do I get the feeling we are taking Elliot in the 1st round? I'm not sure Soct is gonna want to put up the kind of money it will take to get Miller or any of the other top free agent running backs. There appears to be a huge drop off in the running back class after the first 40 picks or so. It just feels like if he's there and we haven't signed a running back, that's the direction they will go. Could be wrong.

EDIT: Just noticed that you guys have been talking about this. My bad. I posted this without even knowing that this was already a topic. I'd say he might be the favorite right now.

Forte- 30 but a contender will gladly take him...wouldn't be surprised to see NE here.

Ridley 26 intrigues me because of what he has done and would be very cheap.

If Elliot gets past the Colts he should be on our radar assuming we didn't sign Morris and we did not pick up a FA RB. We really don't know what's going to happen in the draft b/c FA hasn't hit yet.

Possible picks at #21 Bullard, Reed, Alexander, Dobbs, and Elliot. If we took a WR over Elliot I would be very pissed. assuming Jax and Garcon are still on the team

That Cravens guy is interesting b/c every team is looking for that hybrid safety\lb guy. The Bucannon comparison is huge for this guys draft potential.
